"NOW" You are an idiot. Thank God this fugitive was "Nabbed" and there was not another "Murder" committed. Apparently you are not "Skilled" enough to wear a uniform....maybe a fast food restaurant "uniform" but that's about it. Be grateful for the good that is done and that a dangerous person was taken off the streets.“NO SKILL”....wow...the man was on the run for one year! YOU are brilliant! The man allegedly threatened a drive by....YOU are brilliant! Yes it would be great to solve the "unsolved murders", but come on, find some sort of intelligence in that brain of yours...those murders are done, we don't want more, and this individual appears to have been capable of committing more murders. Now he will not be able to. Give credit where it is due and start praying that God will assist the officers who are working on solving the "unsolved" murders. WAY TO GO OFFICER AUSTIN, and all others involved. I am proud of you and thank you that no one was hurt by this man! People of this caliber don't care who gets hurt in the process of committing their criminal acts......including innocent people in the wrong place at the wrong time....”NOW”, that means you and your family and friends; as well as mine; will not have to worry about being a victim of THIS man.

Figures! They stumble upon a lucky arrest! They can't catch any of our murderers, but hey, at least they caught someone!

YOU are f&&ing STUPID! CHRIS WAS MURDERED! As for me being skilled for a uniform, LMAO, you have no idea! As for a fast food uniform..LMFAO even more! YOU do not have skills for most likely many reasons, but for one, you cannot figure out that Chris was murdered! Get a f&&king life! So what that the guy was on the run for a year! They happened to nab him...WOOOW! Can you say NURSING uniform????? That is my uniform dumbf&&k!!! That is good they nabbed him by chance!!! Obviously, they cannot solve murders! THEY have no skills! God this and God that! IF God was controlling and guiding officers then WHY were there just 4 shot in Cali.? Why is there so much evil in this world? God IS NOT controllling anything! YOU need to think, IF you even have a brain...but I can say you don't.
Wake Up

You need to wake up and read the story. The CPD went to the location to investigate a report of a possible drive by shooting. An officer found the fugitive at 4 in the morning as he was dumping a 9 ml handgun over the fence. A possible murder was prevented and you are minimizing the importance of this? In regards to the unsolved murder cases, you need to understand is that the CPD unit's on the beat aren't the ones solving the murders. That's the job of the investigative team (I think we have a few on the force), and the DA issues the orders for the arrest after a case has been established. The officer’s typically only arrest individuals who are caught in the act of breaking the law. Everyone in this town seems to have a misconception that the CPD officers are supposed to be out there solving crimes and instead of acting as law enforcement officers. We need a more high tech CSI unit and more funding to add investigators to the force. Until then the families will be forced to hire their own PI’s and rely on the resources that the city has if they want to solve the crimes. Currently there are two individuals awaiting trial for the murder of our youth and they were investigated by Carlsbad’s team, so give them a little credit. Our men and women in uniform place themselves in harms way on a daily basis and you don’t have to see it to believe it. They do it for their own reason and I hope they never read the negativity on this forum. They have been shot, spit on, bitten, hit, cursed, bled on by people with HIV, ran into, and ultimately had to drive at rates of speed that no one should ever have to drive, and this is all the thanks they get. Why don’t some of you go out there and try out for the force, they could use a few good people. Put your body where your mouth is.

I do give cops credit where deserved. Why don't people compare THIS town's murders to a big city where no clues are apparent and they ACTUALLY investigate...AND find the perp.? I am not talking about people talking and knowing. Look at BOTH cases, they had been around others at a party! Look at Sasha, Manny's and whomever else's cases where IT WAS not solved!

YES! They do put theirself in harm's way, BUT it is NOT like huge cities where you know the percentage is higher and a families nerves are MORE on edge to wonder if their loved one will come home.

My family were cops...my dad, my uncle, six cousins, and another cousin working HLS.

I have a friend here who is an investigator here also.

So, I DO give credit where it is given. The only problem is, is that the police here do not have the experience that they need to solve crimes that are not in their face with evidence not hard to look for.

You just wrote what I meant. God does NOT control anything...it is up to a person to decide what path to take..he gave us that decision.

Why would Satan have won me over? I believe in God 100%!!!
