The whole Hurricane Hugo thing was a farce then, and it's a farce today. same falsehood, different day.
I know what blaspheming the Holy Spirit is, and it's not what I do, it's what people who "claim" to have the miraculous gifts of the Holy Spirit do. It's a bunch of garbage, all the fake healings, fake tongue-speaking, fake flopping around in the floor like a seizure, fake "holy laughter", fake "slain in the spirit", it's all fake. The Holy Spirit is not some Spirit of confusion, making people act a fool and all that garbage.
The Holy Spirit served a purpose in the first century, and serves a purpose today, and it's not to be made a fool of by people who "claim" He does all kinds of unBiblical nonsense.
Go right ahead....I have heard a dog bark before , just to hear his head roar. Though the dog didn't get nothing from it, but a headache.

I have come too far and seen too much, to listen to someone, like you.

When you can find something worse then this..threatened with your life, for being Baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and beaten with a belt for not being rebaptized in other names...come on back and call me and the Holy Ghost inside me more names.

If it means going to HELL for what I believe about the Holy Ghost, I am HELL bound. You can spin that whatever way you want to.

You're lying about me again, Mrs. Marrs. I've not called you, nor the Holy Spirit, a "name". I said that the Holiness movement garbage is a farce, a fake, and started by normal people on an ego trip in the early 1900s.

Care to answer my simple question? Since the Holiness movement didn't start until 1901, where was the Holy Ghost between the first century and 1901? Was He not active? Did no one speak in supposed "tongues" for those 1800 years or so before the Holiness movement started? Were there no "healings" in the years between 1901 and the first century? Were there no "exorcisms"?

I will answer a question with a questions.

1.Explain receive/received the Holy Ghost. If you get this right, I will be sure to tell you.

2. Show where Water Baptism, replaced outpouring of the Holy Ghost and laying on of hands to receive the Holy Ghost?

3. How does one know today, they have the Holy Ghost, easy to say I have the Holy Ghost and no evidence of having it.

You're not going to answer my questions because you don't know. You can't answer false doctrine with correct answers because false doctrine has answers based on which false teacher is answering them. What does your false doctrine answer about where the Holy Spirit was between 1901 and the first century? Was there no tongues or miracles or flopping around on the floor between the first century and 1901, when the Holiness movement started? About 1800 years of silence from the Holy Spirit and then BAM, EVERYONE starts receiving the Holy Spirit who are in the Pentecostal Holiness movement?

Who said that in the last days people would not endure sound doctrine, but believe untruths?

I'm reminded of the famous movie line given by Jack Nicholson:'Truth? Truth? You can't handle the truth.'

Those of Christ believe He spoke the truth - the very Doctrine of God.

John 8: 31,32; "If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

John 14:23,24; "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. He who does not love Me does not keep My words, and the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father's who sent Me."

Do you keep His word in the sense that He said to keep it? Don't tell me, it's between you and Him. Anyone can see if another abides in His word by what they say and do - what they believe and what they refuse to believe.

Do you believe there is a God. It seems to me you are looking for evidence that God exists and you can't find the evidence you are looking for in people...

STRAW MAN ALERT! STRAW MAN ALERT!

Bobby, your mind seems to be warped. I am looking for evidence where the evidence REALLY is, and that is in the word of God.

You, YOU, are the one seeking God in buildings, and God does not dwell in buildings made with man's hands, don't you realize that?

Acts 7:49
Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?

True Christianity is NOT in million dollar buildings, Bobby. Quit looking for truth in them. It's not there. The only thing there is man's opinion which leads to false teaching.

Really Bobby what can you expect from carnal people who walk by sight & not by faith?
**He sighed deeply and said, "Why does this generation ask for a miraculous sign? I tell you the truth, no sign will be given to it." Mark 8:12

Because these carnel people try to "prove" miracles & works of the Holy Spirit have ceased - they will NOT see a miracle or working of the Holy Spirit...

**And he did not do many mighty works there, because of their unbelief. Matthew 13:58

What a mistranslation of the biblical text here.

See the problem is this...you can't see the trees for the forest. Because you're cutting down too many trees to see the forest.

Remember, in your own words,''a woman can not teach a man, or usurp authority over a man''. So any ''teaching'', I would do is useless to you. Because you will never accept it.

A dog will bark, just to hear his own head roar, and the only thing a dog, will get is a headache.

Have you answered my questions I have put forth, seems you've been busy, attacking everyone except bad ole Randy and forgot them.

Unbelief is the only thing that will keep us from heaven and some worry about minor issues-things they see, not willing to walk by faith.

See to it, brothers, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God.

Actually, I didn't say anything about a woman teaching. Nope. Wasn't me. It was PAUL! And I just repeated what the Apostle wrote. So, if you have a problem with it, just go ahead and rip that page out of your Bible, or take a Sharpie and black it out so you don't have to read it anymore.

I'm not sure where you go that saying, but it's cute. I like it. It's awesome that you refer to Randy and me as dogs, for the Bible says:

Luke 6:26
Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.

So please, please, don't speak well of me, I don't won't the "woe" Jesus pronounced would come with it. Please continue to speak well of the false prophets Bobby and BFalse, for they deserve the woe.

I'm still waiting on you to answer ANY questions. BW did a GREAT job of answering your questions, and yet you still ask the same ones. If you think you're going to keep asking the same questions over and over until someone gives you the answer you want to hear, keep dreaming.

Does belief get you into the body of Christ? Remember, demons believed in the Bible too, and not only that, they recognized Jesus as the Son of God. Were they "in" the body of Christ, just because they believed? Wow, you stepped in it this time. Does belief cause you to "put on Christ"? Sorry, Bobby, WRONG-O!

Yeah, BW covered it quite well. She wont answer anything. She knows it will reveal too much if she answers questions. She always runs and comes back with more questions. NEVER giving an answer. Surely her husband Johnny Marrs could come on here and assist her. Na, he wouldn't dare do that ;)

Was it you SW, who told me to go and ask my husband on here, wasn't Paul speaking was it. Since no kids are on here, how can I speak of spiritual matters.
See, I have found nothing about you to speak well of, when I do , I will let you know.Seems Jesus was speaking to the Apostles , and not you particularly, since you do not believe every scripture in the Bible.
If you will notice, Barnsweb, answered the question. Did you see me agree with him?

I have yet to see your answer and Randy's answer.

See another minomer about me, I never called you ''dogs''. You just love barking like a dog, to hear his head roar, and get a big headache, when no one listens.

I am waiting on BOOK/CHAPTER/VERSES , for an explanation to why you can not prove something.

You have yet to explain receive/received ... not a hard question to anwer.
You have not found those scriptures, where Water Baptism, replaced laying on of hands and outpouring of the Holy Ghost.

The reason I have no respect for you...you have no respect for yourself.

A little boy in a woman's world and not even a believer of what he espouses. Seems a wolf in sheep's clothing, trying to teach, when you should follow your own advice....REPENT FIRST,(DON'T FORGET TO BELIEVE IN Jesus), AND BE SURE AND DO NOT DIE ON THE WAY TO WATER (YOU'RE GOING TO HELL ,YOUR DOCTRINE), MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE HOLY GHOST TOO.....ooops, since no Apostle is here to impart the Holy Ghost, you can't get it (forget the last part). Oooops, this means you are not sealed, no Holy Ghost.

In other words, you cannot defend what you believe. If so, you would. Now, look hard for the verse that says SEEK or PRAY for the baptism of the Holy GHOST. Odd, that you cannot find this verse but yet you believe one can SEEK the baptism of the Holy GHOST.

It is all by grace through faith, there is no other way to be saved. It worked well enough for Abraham and the thief on the cross who were never water baptized. It worked well enough for Cornelius and his family who received the spirit before water baptism.

So the real question is do you have enough faith to trust Christ alone for your salvation.

Put on Christ is a term used to speak to the already saved, to encourage us to live lives worthy of our calling in Christ. It is not something we preform that obligates Jesus to save us.

Rom 13:14 Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh.

No where would it be applicable for demons or unbelievers to put on Christ.

Gal 3:27for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.

Paul is exhorting believers to display outwardly whatt has already taken place inwardly including practicing all the virtues associated with Christ.
