They might as well say it, they believe it. If you ask them if they believe it they always come back with a question, lol.

The kinda stuff Johnny and crew try to pull won't last. I am surprised anyone is still funding them. I haven't watched for a while. There used to be some really low numbers watching, usually single digit.

I'm not a sucker. I understand the possibility of what may happen after a debate. But I see it like this-I simply want to present what I think is truth. I'm not concerned about an audience, or embarrassing someone if I "win". If someone else is motivated like that, that's on them. They have their reward in the spectacle.

First, to know who is not telling the truth, you have to know what the truth is. Jesus said these words that must be taken together if we are honest:'If you abide in My words, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.'
Anyone, any group, that says truth is known apart from abiding in the words of Jesus (as a whole - not just pick and choose - if they don't abide, they cannot know the truth - can they? Abiding has to do with remaining in the state of what they are and not adding to them or taking away from them.
So it's only blind leaders of the blind arguing against each other - until at least one of the debaters is found who is abiding in His word and leads others to do likewise.

Is what God said true? If so, then double check what those things are - specifically. Then repent and seek to abide in them. And likewise to whatever Jesus taught - it's that simple. Don't be distracted by the extreme explanations of Paul unless Y'shua was also as extreme on something. The same should be said on any other matter, but being lax towards a specific point.

If you take the time to check this out, you might find what you've been misdirected in and come to know the truth - the actual truth.

I agree and there will be those on both sides who will believe their guy won. So, the goal should not be (just)to win.

Barnsweb, you are at least consistent but way off track. I know you position sounds rosey, professionally and legally correct. I see you differently that from what you say-how you see yourself. I know you are a good guy with your heart in the right place, I respect that. But, I also know that you yourself are far from perfect, not living up the the standards you proclaim. If a man can keep the words of Jesus perfectly, especially the things he said concerning the law, then the law was all any of us need and Jesus died in vain. Law has no power to save.

We are all law breakers including you, what we need is abundant grace and then develop a love and a character that reflects Christ living in us. Do we obey along the way, yes. However all men will always, on this side of heaven, fall short of the 613 laws you continue to promote. The actual truth is Jesus died for sinful disobedient men just like both you and I. You are no better than me and I am no better than you, we both stand in need of Gods extraordinary love and grace.

For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: "Love your neighbor as yourself."

Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.

I think this final section is one we often don't think about. Not one of us can keep the law perfectly. We tried and have failed. Only Jesus did, and that is why He is the perfect sacrifice. But, we can fulfill it, and that is greater than keeping it, and easier. It's easier because all we have to do is love God and our neighbor. And if we do that, we'll walk closer to Him than we could imagine. And our deeds will truly be from a motive of love, not keeping a checklist of accomplishments.

Sermon today was to be on the greatest commandments. Snow day here.

Our church sent two teenage groups into two different communities. One when to serve food in a community outreach facility. The other spent spring break painting a house and cleaning the yard for an elderly couple. Do we see anything unusual about that? What I mean is, how extraordinary is it that young people would do that. Most of them are very self serving, so are adults by the way. What does a lost and dying world see when they see people doing extra ordinary things like serving people they do not even know without asking anything in return? That is part what it means to be the church, we do things for others without any regard to whether we get anything in return. This is how we can open doors for the message of Christ. Selfless giving is exactly what Christ did for us, he loved and served us while we were yet sinners. Still today he sends his people into the world to be his ambassadors for peace.

Defination: an official envoy; especially : a diplomatic agent of the highest rank accredited to a foreign government or sovereign as the resident representative of his or her own government or sovereign or appointed for a special and often temporary diplomatic assignment.

What a high calling we have in Christ-we are not ordinary people we are extra ordinary when we love and serve others in the name of our King-we are not of this world. This is part of how we grow the kingdom. It is not only by opening our church doors and preach to ourselves and a few visitors, we are to go out into the highways and the byways looking for ways to spread the love of Christ, so that others might see Christ in us and want the peace and love we have. We are seeking the lost just like Jesus did, we are not waiting for them to come to us. It cost Jesus his life so our role in reaching the lost will cost us something also.

This was today's sermon in my own words.

Micah got sent to preacher school after Poegate. I read on topix they both got sent to debate school because they couldn't handle a debate just lately. There is an easier way, quit trying to out talk and deceive people and just be honest. That is not taught in school anymore and apparently not in the Martinsville CoC either.
This is true. Johnny has sent his sons Micah & Caleb off to school to learn how to debate better because one of them got out debated by a KKK member.Imagine that! Johnny said on tv recently they will be back in the summer. Perhaps this time they will be sharper than a dull crayon:)

love how people say" this is true" or " I heard" and all of a sudden it is TRUE. Micah was never in a debate with KKK. I was supposed to debate them after the debate with NEW Nation of Islam in Feb of 2011. I was diagnosed with cancer the week before the islam debate and went ahead and debated him rather than deal with cancer. I could not keep putting treatment off so i asked James oldfield to debate the KKK guy fro chicago. Micah was just taking calls as NO OTHER PREACHER AROUND HERE WILL DO, and the KKK guy called in. And so what if Micah at 34 havin only been in classes for 6 months couldnt answer a guy 3 times his age who represents the KKK? Paul said STUDY. Micah is studying in school

So you are upset that someone says something that isn't true as fact, yet you have not repented for your blue dot video of children claiming child pornography was taking place?

Seems to me you set the standard for how all other false statements should be measured by!
