A drug checkpoint along Interstates 55/70 near Collinsville,Illinois. Before the Black Lane

exit, the posted signs indicating that a drug checkpoint lay ahead. Further down
the highway, beyond the Black Lane exit, Collinsville officers stationed unoccupied squad cars headed the wrong way on the Interstates with headlites flashing as decoys. Thus, the Black Lane exit appeared to be the last and only chance to avoid the checkpoint. However, the actual
checkpoint was at the end of the Black Lane exit ramp.If you got off there Collinsville police
would tear your car apart, good part of this, officers got to screw us taxpayers out of
overtime pay.

Appropriate questions is >>>>>
How long before squad cars with headlites flashing headed the wrong way on Interstates 55/70
causes a bad Accident. It will be happy land for any Accident Attorney.

yep, Welcome to the new American police state...the sad thing is that when they do cause an accident , they will somehow manage to blame it on We, The People.

if you dont do the crime, you dont have to worry about doing the time. the cops dont make trash like you run with the dope, so it shouldnt matter to everyday citizens about a program to bust your asses.

Nice one Todd. I don't know about anybody else here, but I'm a 52 yr old guy who doesn't mess with drugs OR alcohol. But I do like the cops to follow the law too.

it's real easy to say that innocent people don't have to worry, but tell that to the 200+ innocent people who have been shot to death by cops raiding the wrong house in this war on drugs, or even the scores of people who were detained or delayed as they went about thier daily law abiding lives with this idiotic roadblock.

If you haven't noticed, the war on drugs has done nothing to stop drugs, they are cheaper and easier to find now than they were in the 60's and 70's when I was coming up. All it's done is give the law enforcement communitty a huge sense of being above the law and the feeling that they have a right to harrass anyone at anytime with no probable cause at all...you ARE famililiar with probable cause and the Constitution aren't you?

All I'm getting for the tax money Iv'e spent on the war on drugs is a police state and it is people who think like you do that enable it to go on.

Sig Heil Todd.

Daily Horoscope for January 3

Taurus

The steadier you are now, the better: this is not the time to throw caution to the wind and be exceptionally attentive to details. If anything, labour the point and you'll find in a few days' time that you are really glad you did. Friends will be able to give your morale a big boost at the moment, if you're in need of support. Team relationships and efforts work tremendously well at the moment. Why fly solo if you don't need to?
