Third College Student Dies in Wreck

A third Georgia Southern University student has died from injuries sustained in a Sunday afternoon wreck.

Susan, you really do need to start praying. I know for a fact that God will forgive you for the things that you are posting. What worries me is the state your mind must be in. Prayer really will get rid of this hatred you seem to be so very proud of. I don't know what these girls did to you, real or imagined, but they didn't deserve what happened to them. Neither did their families or friends or those of us that worked the wreck. There aren't many days that go by that I don't think of these girls and that Sunday. Rest assured that when I pray for their families, I'll also be praying that the rock in your chest be softened back into a heart.

I understand what you mean. I am from Arizona. I moved to Florida for an engineering job in 2002. I have a very large family back in Arizona. I took my 14 year old niece on a hike deep into the Grand Canyon last June. It was a great family trip. I came back to Florida for my job. Then I saw on the news that a 14 year old girl from Arizona had died in North Tallahassee very close to Thomasville. Her father was from Georgia. She died when a tree fell on their car.

I did not personally know the family or the girl. But it really bothered me because (1) I have a niece the same age,(2) she is also from Arizona, and (3) I had just returned from a family trip to Arizona and the Grand Canyon. So it really depressed me. I resorted to prayer. I went to the Catholic Church near the site of the accident at night. When I took my 14 year old niece to the Grand Canyon we listened to music from the Disney Channel for her age group: Hannah Montana, Selena Gomez, Jonas, etc. The news of the Arizona girl's death was depressing. So I literally did go to Church to pray for her even though I didn't know her personally. I did it as a fellow Arizonan with a niece the same age. She reminded me too much of my niece. I am her surrogate father since her parents are divorced.

Suitably amusing that you're praying over this while deducing that these girls must have done something to susan, "real or imagined", from her short entry. That's okay. Maybe God will forgive you for being a pretentious ass.
