Ever tried to back out from being parked in front of any of the business on South Broad street.
Yes I know that's a busy main road and once in a while you will find a kind person that will stop and let you out. I sat 4-5 min trying to back out, not even a cop would stop and let me out and I know everyone seen my backup lights. Then you have to deal with the big trucks or SUV's that are hugh and can not see around to pull out.

the country of metter has angle parking because the average driver in metter doesn't have the skill to parallel park. (by golly, it's always been that way and it's gona STAY that way).

Hello. I'm new to this message board and I have a question for you Realist. When did Metter,GA become a country? I always thought that it is a very small town in south Georgia where some of my cousins live. I'm not trying to be a smart alec but I'm simply curious about this.

after you've lived here a while, you'll discover that the people who live here seem to think they don't have to live by the rules of the rest of the US of A, thus the "country of metter" title.

Now I have another question for you. Why do they think and act that way? I'm hoping that my cousins don't do this.

most of the people in metter were born, raised and die here. the can't fathom a whole new world out there; people with different life styles and ideas. times are changing and you either change with the times or you wither and die!

I think the topic here is people not letting you out of the parking downtown. Getting way of the subject. Parking for a small town like Metter, then it's got to be worse in bigger cities.
Just asking if you are one of the kind heart people who live in Metter, be kind and let the person backing out come on out and all be own their marry way.Try it alittle kindness will make you feel better! Try it

Well Dumb Ass, there's a massive farming industry here where the owner doesn't like to pay out as much for some lazy trailer trash to pick his onions, or whatever else they're having planted.

Why are you still here? I certainly hope you bred your children to leave soon after birth so they could escape your hateful disposition and this small town and its prejudices.

OH and Another damn thing, I'd love to see how everyone likes this town with out Senor Luis' Restaurant (a Mexican restaurant) where half the town gets drunk off their asses and sings Karaoke until 3 am.

As far as parking is concerned, it's true. I don't park in the area they're talking about because the traffic is so busy and by the way we do have parallel parking all in down town Metter.

Daily Horoscope for January 5

Virgo

You aren't fooling anyone - it's easy for everyone else to see that inexperienced people are unaware of their obligations, Virgo. You're grumpy about starting a familiar process from the beginning again, but don't let that get in the way of getting on with it. Sour grapes have no place in your daily dealings. Although you may 'own' a project, it's ultimately in the hands of someone else. Deal with it and then move on.
