THE REAL STORY SHOULD BE: WHY DID IT TAKE 9 DAYS TO POST HIS OBITUARY? Why was his true FAMILY (mother/father/(5) brothers and sister not notified by his wife and 2 children that he died until 4 days after he passed away and 2 days after he was already cremated? Not even his place of work FOR 15+ YEARS was notified til 6 days later? NOBODY HAS CLOSURE EXCEPT THE SELFISH, NON HUMANE, OUT OF TOUCH TO SOCIETY WIFE, ETC. Afternoon obituary update

The death of a husband is a mentally shattering event. Doing an obituary was probably not a high priority event to his wife. Doing an obituary for my parents was a very difficult task and there are many things I could/should have included. I have typed my obituary and filed it with my will

Unless you are a mother or father... or immediate family member... you basically have no say in what someone does or doesn't do. Different people handle grief different ways. Death is not an easy thing to deal with.
Are you the mother? Sister? Brother? Father?.... If you or any of your other family members (you said there were 5 others) were so close... then how would you not know the condition of the deceased and why did you not have closer contact with them? I speak with my immediate family members at least 2-3 times a week either via phone or email. Sounds like his REAL family was the one he was with... at least they knew what was up! You gonna tell me 5 siblings and not one of them knew after 1 or 2 days... shame shame shame...sounds like there was family trouble here that has been left untold... I only have one sister and I would know about her. Only reason you would need to contact work is to let them know he/she won't be coming back. Most co-workers could care less.... they might show up out of respect... but that's about it. So which were you ... a brother?.. mother?... father?.. sister?.. or just someone who had too much time on their hands and just wanted to blast a family for handling grief their way and not yours? Don't worry... you'll get you chance in due time to do it your way. AMEN |

I don't know who wrote the first comment. But I do know that it is not the whole story. The whole story is worse than stated...I know...because I am blood related to the wife. No mother, regardless of the situation in the family should be denied the knowledge that her child has died. No excuse. It was cruel beyond belief....But not really surprising...Trust me when I tell you that post was written by a member of his family. Most likely his mother. He died suddenly at home. No way for them to know the problem was so severe. He didn't even know...No excuse good enough in this world to not let his mother know. |

Pahahaha. Hey, "Iknow"...Apparently , you DON'T. I'm curious, what blood relative are you? As a TRUE blood relative I know the real situation. I was THERE!!! I know what my uncles final wishes were. I respect them as they were HIS wishes and not anyone else's. And seriously, you posted this almost 1 1/2 years after his death. Why are you still dwelling? Is it guilt maybe? Get over yourself. |
