WaWa's on 12th street (route 54) You get what you order (without having to stand there and watching to make sure!). The greens are well washed and dried of any moisture (no sogggy bread!) And properly seasoned with the right touch of vinegar salad dressing.
We bought hoagies from a couple of other places mentioned on your pole list, but in one place the bread was soggy from the greens....they left out the provolone....no hot peppers, as ordered. So if you don't stand there and watch while the sandwich is being put together, you don't get what you asked for and you are in for a disappointment when you unwrap. In the second place the bread was so soggy that bits of wet bread fell off while you are eating. So my advice to our town's Hoagie places is "make sure the greens are well dried" after washing, and make sure the bread is not saturated with too much salad dressing material! |

Inferrera's makes a pretty good Italian hoagie (authentic Italian meats/spices). A lot of OTHER places around town make more of an "American-version" of a hoagie.

West End and Baglianis make the best.
