Went to KUMO. The food was good and healthy, and not expensive. Had a hibatchi scallop lunch with scallops, lot of vegetables, a small bowl of white rice, miso soup, and small salad for $10.

Note: This is not the hibatchi that they cook in front of you. They do it in the kitchen.

They also offered lots of sushi, of course.

The place is small, though. So I would call ahead if I planned to go.

It's a nice change of pace, nicely priced, and healthy.

The service was good, too.

Don't bother with Kumo. Kamita in Oaks is much better. Overall, the food tastes better and the sushi is superior.

Starbuck's is now listed on the PTC site. It will be located very close to Towne Book Center. That sucks for them and their cafe.

There has been a men's salon in the shopping center for about a year now. Sport Clips is right across from Wegmans and it's really nice. The MVP cut is very affordable and includes a hot towel and scalp and shoulder massage. The best part is that I am in and out in less than 30 minutes. That typically includes the wait as well.

My experience there was terrible! The young lady who cut his hair did an awful job. It was completely uneven and not layered properly.

Huh! That is so uncharacteristic of the numerous times I have visited. I have referred many friends and their experience has always been over the top.

All of these stores all ready exist in the center. How many furniture stores, yogurt or hair salons do we need.

I stand corrected as Parminda Home & Tilly's are both open. I now beleive Jos A Bank & Sleepy's may also be open, too, but not 100% sure.

And two more new stores were added to the list:

Zoe's Kitchen ( http://zoeskitchen.com/ )

Why can't they put in a DSW and/or BED BATH and BEYOND. Why do tey keep bringing in all these stores no one has ever heard of. They are going to need to do something about the parking. If you want to eat at champs or firebirds or see a movie on a Saturday night you already have difficulty finding a spot. It is only going to get worse.

I believe that DSW (or some other shoe place) was on the original list of retailers that backed out of the deal a while ago. I for one am glad to see new stores in the area that I have never heard of. There was a time before BB&B was around these parts, but you never would have found out about them if they didn't open one store first. Who knows, one of those new stores may turn out to be your favorite new place to shop. I am not saying that they are all up my alley, but I hope to find a gem or two in there for me.

As far as parking, the whole thing was planned as a walkable shopping/entertainment center. You might not get parking smack dab in front of the one store that you want to shop at. So you have to walk a little ways.(If you go to the mall, you have to walk there too, just this way you get more fresh air, lol.) On busy times I have parked in the lot in front of Staples, etc. to go to the movies or even in the lots in the back of the movie theater.

BB&b is passe and so 1992! Besides we have homegoods and they have towels there. We do need a reasonably priced shoe store and a reasonably priced women's clothing store. White house black market is nice but I don't always want to pay $200 for one outfit. Love ems!!
