I want to try Zoup! They appear to have many more options than Panera Bread (the closest being all the way out in Audubon).

I don't know how Elevation Burger will do. I don't like burgers & it looks like that's all they have.

Zoup is good! Went there for dinner tonight. Had the tomato basil soup (delicious!) and tuna sandwich on French bread (very good!)

No Offense, just cause you aren't going to go there isn't going to kill them. There are a lot of us that LIKE burgers!

Elevation burger opened this week. Tried is out last night and it was pretty good.(Samuel L Jackson voice: Now that is a tasty burger!). I can't anyone ever ordering it but they even have a 10-patty burger (wow).

EMS is also open. And they are doing work on a few more of the stores in that area near Zoup and Olly Shoes.

And zoup is awesome. Can't wait for all of PTC to be open.

EB is really good. Was there yesterday. They, of course, have burgers, they also make grilled cheese, they have "shakes and malts" too.

Zoup is also really good. A bit pricey for soup, though.

I saw signs about stores coming soon, looks like a book store is among those slated to open eventually! Has anyone heard news of when it might be opening?

I concur about EB. The flavorfulness & deafness of their burgers reminds me of In & Out Burgers on the West Coast. EB is a bit pricy like Zoup but worth it on occasion. I personally prefer The Pub at Wegmans for a few bucks more, & I'm definitely coming back to EB.

Everything they are putting in there are places I have never heard of.. I'll take a Zoup, Eastern Mountain Sports and Elevation Burger over any many bigger chains. The quality of the smaller places is usually better. I wouldn't mind a Chipotle in the center.
Zoup isn't cheap, but their soup is really good. The sandwiches aren't all that great, in my opinion.
Elevation is like In n Out? That reminds me of the old days in SoCal. Riverwalk chic- is Elevation Burger better than 5 Guys?

Hilary, The Trappe Book Store will be moving next to EMS. They are slated to open Feb. 1 2011. The y will have a cafe in the bookstore. They are currently looking for suggestions for a new name since they will no longer be in Trappe.

$9.19 for a small (one patty burger) with reg size fries and drink.
Does not taste as good as Five Guys.

That shopping center is like a giant half empty city. It would be great if they could actually fill all of those empty stores with businesses, but does anyone think it'll happen?

I went to ZOUP & the food is definitely better than Panera. My only complaint is that there's not many tables if you want to dine in. I like that they let you sample the soup before you buy it & they have a lot more variety.

Actually me not going there had nothing to do with that statement... It's more the fact that they don't have a drive thru & it's a bit pricey for a burger. You don't even get fries with it, that costs $2.69 (I can buy a bag of them in the frozen aisle for less). Let's face it, people shopping in this area are too cheap & lazy to get out of their cars. They're the same people who will be driving around the Wegman's parking lot for 10 minutes looking for a closer spot rather than just walk. EB is just kinda stuck way back in the corner there.

@Riverwalk chic: I agree, they should have put in some more Staples (like 2 or three more), a couple of Starbucks, a Lowe's, A Mcdonalds, A Kohl's and a Walmart. We don;t need anything we don't already have around here.

Oh I see. You're one of those cheapos that samples all the soups and then leaves.

Except that you have to get out of your car and walk to each place individually. It's a great opportunity to walk off all of those "Zoup" samples you ingested, you mooch.

Zoup is awesome. Ten times better than Panera - but the focus is on the soup, not pastries & other junk. They do have sandwiches, but the soup - oh, the glorious soup.

They change their soups everyday - and they update their website so you can check to see what's on the menu for that day. You can even order online.

I just realized I sound like a commercial - but I don't work there and don't know anyone who does. I just love their soup. Haven't had one yet I didn't like - and I've tried about 5 or 6.

Now I'm hungry!

Oh - and yeah, who wants more of the same ol' dumb chains in the new shopping center? Blech. Give me new stuff any day.

"Everything they are putting in there are places I have never heard of.." -- THAT is exactly why I like this shopping center! New stuff, not the same ol', same ol'. There is a DSW just down in KOP and like 3 Paneras nearby. New stuff is good.

Oh, and Elevation Burger is good, too. Their fries are yummy.
