Proposed acupuncture designation for chiropractors drawing opposition
#1 May 24, 2012
200 hours of training in another bizarre and unfounded "treatment" and these chiroquackers think they are somehow "qualified" to treat conditions from ADD to fibromyalgia to bed wetting by sticking needles into people.
Here's a thought ... how about chiropractors getting actual clinical experience in examining, diagnosing and treating those conditions BEFORE claiming they are "qualified?

Sage advice from a loser (wisdom) who claims he failed in practice in less than three months.
Wisdom has no clue what he's talking about. None. I use acupuncture in my clinic with amazing results. I can't help it if wisdom sucked at everything his fraudulent hands did.

" I use acupuncture in my clinic with amazing results."
ha ha Yeah I believe you. Are you the same huckster that claimed you can cure deep wounds and defended the idiot chiropractor who claimed he treats goldfish?
Well, yes you are. Quack

I know only one thing faster than the speed of light: The amount of time it took wisdom to fail in practice (that is, if he ever was a chiropractor--still very doubtful).

I refer many of my patients to a local chiropractor and they respond profoundly well. I have not heard nor met a chiropractor who claims to treat these conditions. In fact the vitalistic thinking of chiropractic is by reducing "stressors" the body can function more optimally. Surely in medicine we really don't expect to cure many illness, we make them manageable. There are plenty of resources and books that touch on holistic treatments and the psyco-visceral responses.
Anyhow I find the newer younger generation of DC's to be more than adequate at diagnosis and addressing/referring for proper treatment.
Mechanistic thinking often attenuates an individual with a closed mind. It's essential for the patient to have the right to choose care in which coincides with their beliefs.
Perhaps wisdom you are unable to understand what is involved with varying physical medicine modalities.

Ok, read a little more slowly .... " Here's a thought ... how about chiropractors getting actual clinical experience in examining, diagnosing and treating those conditions BEFORE claiming they are "qualified?"
Is there something in that statement you disagree with?
How about this ......." The majority of chiropractors engage in bizarre and unfounded "treatments" like activator, nucca, ak, network, gonstead, hio, sot, and yes acupuncture. There is basically NO legitimate evidence that any of those "treatments are good for anything. Yet, chiropractors perform those
"treatments" on patients with all sorts of illnesses and conditions. Do those FACTS bother you "doctor"?
I was a chiropractor. I am an expert on chiropractic matters. You are pout of your league if you think you can debate me regarding any chiropractic matter.
And anyway, I think your " psyco-visceral responses" statement indicates that even you think that there is a placebo effect involved. And I would not disagree with that.
Fact, chiropractors do not get any actual clinical experience in examining, diagnosing or treating serious illnesses. If you think they do, you are seriously ignorant.

Wisdom brags he's a failed chiropractor. Thus his jealousy of successful chiropractors. See, if you've failed at something, the best thing to do is bash that very profession. Sort of like self medicating.
