So "Texans want politics out of school books." Why did White call Perry? Everyone knows why...he is desperate to garner support for his campaign. Do not be fooled. Do not vote for White. He is wrong for the governor's office.

It sounds as if you were done wrong and should get help. But, I fail to see what this has to do with Texas school books.
You should contact State Rep. Wayne Christian and State Senator Robert Nichols.
My Family home schools. When Nacogdoches County Sheriff Kerss stole all of our personal property, this included all of our “Texas Private School” school books and other materials. Our school was shut-down when it was raided. I am hoping that citizens such as yourself that have an interest in our children’s education may be able to bring the elected and appointed officials off their rears and get involved investigating these crimes.
As for my “representatives,” are you familiar with the expression,“teats on a boar”? If I had a beachfront property beside Rep. Christian, maybe he would help. US Congressman Louie Gohmert is even worse.
Thank-you for your interest though. If you know someone that could help my Family, we could really use it.
Thanks,
Anthony Culler

Wow I do feel sorry for you but for the life of me, through all the text I can't seem to figure out what the problem is...rather how it started. Did you default on your loan or what?

Do you have grounds for a federal civil rights violation lawsuit?

But, believe me when I tell you that the people where I lived got hungry while Ike was in office. He shut down industry along the Gulf Coast. I remember my father going out of business in two ventures. He came home from WWII and started a small electrical contracting business that electrified many rural homes for the REA,and later also was half owner of a sucessful night club. Both went under while Ike took the money from our area. Luckily my dad went to work for the government and survived. There is little wonder why my dad was a die hard Democrat. But, he lost faith in them during the next 10 yrs. The liberals were just too much to stomach...even for a union man like him. You can praise Ike for his military leadership and for the interstate system...oh yeah, his golfing skills. But never for helping the working man and small businessman. If he helped either one it damned sure was not along the Gulf Coast.

Under Eishenhower it was slow here also: Question is how did he shut down industry in your area? Note the interstate system was set up for militaty to use if need be and not depend on railroads; I belive both Dem's & Rep's are only looking out for them self's; IN this area {population about {15,000] NAFTA sent about 500 jobs paying $18 per hr in 90's to Mexico started by Bush but signed by Clinton: Look out for your self all elected officals will sell you out: Latest example debt out of control yet congress is making Air Forces take new planes they don't want or need even with Obama backin Air Force because makes jobs in some states
