These things run in cycles but at this time Texas has a superior athletic program than Nebraska and merits a better TV contract than Nebraska.

That may change in the future because Nebraska has always been one the top 20 football programs and may be again some day.

But right now Texas is in the top 5 and Nebraska is not even in the top 20.
