Planned Parenthood Director Resigns After Watching Abortion Ultrasound (Video)

The leader of Planned Parenthood in College Station, Texas left her post after watching the ultrasound of an abortion procedure. Abby Johnson told reporters that Planned Parenthood changed it’s business model from one that pushed prevention, to one that focused on abortion.

Abby Johnson was a Director of Planned Parenthood in College Station Texas, until she saw an ultrasound of the procedure pro-abortionists refer to euphemistically as "Choice."

Planned Parenthood has been a part of Abby Johnson’s life for the past eight years; that is until last month, when Abby resigned. Johnson said she realized she wanted to leave, after watching an ultrasound of an abortion procedure.

“I just thought I can’t do this anymore, and it was just like a flash that hit me and I thought that’s it,” said Jonhson.

And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.- Acts 9:18

According to Johnson, the non-profit was struggling under the weight of a tough economy, and changing it’s business model from one that pushed prevention, to one that focused on abortion.

“It seemed like maybe that’s not what a lot of people were believing any more because that’s not where the money was. The money wasn’t in family planning, the money wasn’t in prevention, the money was in abortion and so I had a problem with that,” said Johnson.

It was the realization that abortion was a lucrative industry that flipped me from pro-Choice to pro-Life in college.

Abby Johnson not only resigned from Planned Parenthood, but has become a supporter of the Coalition For Life, and has prayed with coalition volunteers outside Planned Parenthood.

Thank you for the quotes from the article, of Abby Johnson. People try to link Christians to the only opponents of abortion, but I knew as a teenager in Psychology Class it was wrong. I hope this story gains National attention. But I won't hold my breath. May God open other's eyes to the realization of Abortion.

So you think God is behind this woman quitting her job? One question for you... What took Him so long? And you do realize her quitting will not impact this clinic one way or the other? She'll be replaced. Seems like you're trying to credit God for a job not very well done.

Also, can you explain what the restraining order against Johnson and the Coalition for life is about? Why was it necessary? It really should occur to you that not all the facts have emerged surrounding this story.

Moral conscience had everything to do with it.

That, and logic.

When you abort, you are killing a living human, why not watch it for yourself?

And that was changed because it was wrong. Just like Roe vs. Wade changed a law that was wrong, also. What seems to escape you is that before women had complete control over their bodies, we had something in common with slaves. African American's were made into slaves because of the color of their skin. Women were slaves because we were born with a uterus. Thanks to the law of the land, neither of those atrocities will happen again.

Apparently the OP to whom I was responding does think God had something to do with it. That's why I asked her the questions.

All of the facts surrounding this story have yet to emerge. We have only her word,(Johnson) to go on at this point. I'll wait, if you don't mind. I notice you didn't comment on the need for a restraining order against Johnson and Coalition for life. Strange.

Abortion kills the potential for a human life. Seeing as how I am not in the medical field, nor have a need for an abortion, why would I watch one? And HOW would I be permitted to watch one? Shall I put an ad in the local paper asking women who are contemplating an abortion to call me up and allow me to tag along with them? You really should think before you make comments such as that.
