i still remember when it happened. they convicted him. he's just trying to be another crybaby loser not willing to take responsibility for what he did. he SHOULD be executed.

A lot of us remember when it happened and know he was convicted, just like the other 2, for being different, not because of evidence.

DNA from hairs and saliva on the young boys' bodies is not from the 3 convicted, but from other individuals, 2 of which have already been identified. One set of saliva that was found on the genitals of one of the victims is from someone that is still unidentified. He should not be executed.

There is absolutely no evidence linking him to the the crime. The prosecution pushed the "satanic panic" buttons which were all the rage at the time and the jury went for it. They knew (although they should not have known) that a crazy, slow-witted kid said he saw Damien and his friend kill the children. But not only did he not testify against them, his stories made absolutely no sense and did not jive with physical evidence. He had poor legal representation and was completely railroaded by the State. Not only should he not be murdered by lethal injection, he and the other two young men deserve new trials. They would never be convicted today on the evidence that existed then and especially not with the DNA evidence that exists now.

I believe that he will eventually be found innocent.
He will never be executed.
There are too many innocent people on death row.
The death penalty is archaic and hypocritical and should be abolished.
Damien Echols was profiled and targeted because he was different.
As forensic technology evolves through the years you will indeed
see Damien Echols exonerated.
Nothing can give back this innocent man the years that he lost on death row.

Ray - you obviously do not know much about the case if you are calling what Jessie said a confession. He said the murders happened in the morning - not true. Then said they happened in the afternoon - not true. After hours, finally the police told him it was at night. When asked what the kids were tied with, he said a brown rope. Impossible. Everyone knows they were tied with their own shoelaces, which were not brown, which is a detail that is impossible for a killer to forget - as it was done deliberately, not by accident.

Ray,I'm talking to notsmilinganymore"Yeah I'm a Redneck".Old Ben,call Me sick,but I'm not blind.How much have You studied this case?Obviously not much,or You would know the facts about it,and not what a two minute news segment said about it at the time.Ray,He "confessed" after eleven hours of unrecorded harrassment by the police.The next day,He recanted His confession.Also,His "confession" was FULL of holes and not a bit of it was true.For example,He said the three boys were tied with rope,They were tied with Their own shoelaces,He said Two of Them were raped,NONE of Them were raped.The times He gave were wrong.The three boys and Jason were all in school the time that He said it happened.None of the three drove,There were no tracks/footprints at the crimescene.There was a hair from a Black person wrapped in one of the blankets that evidence did not use.Jessie was at a wrestling match that day.That was His alliby.Just recently,the person that He was with went on the news and showed a picture of Them AT the wrestling match that Day.ALSO,THEY FOUND DNA EVIDENCE MATCHING TWO OTHER PEOPLE,one in the shoelace used to tie up the boys!What more do You people need to see?Oh,and Old Ben,You are living proof that Parents should not try to abort Their children with coathangers.It does'nt do the job,it just causes Braindamage(or maybe You can blame You being a Redneck on that,OR MAYBE...Your SISTER is Your MOTHER.That also causes deformations/lack of intellegence).Ray,since You're a little more subtle.I'll be nice to You,but seriously,please study more into this case.They are INNOCENT.
