We just happened to look a little different and have different cultures. I live in a rural county in NC. I see the way Mexicans are resented. They just want a better life like anyother person in this world. This country does not belong to us soley. It first belonged to the Native American which I hate to say we didn't treat very well. So you look a little diferent, hey thats not a crime. The majority of Amerians dont look at Mexicans, or any other Immigrant group as inferior, IF, they came to this country in the LEGAL way. that is through a legal port of entry WITH they're documents and visas all stamped and in order.What we AMERICANS hate and are so very tired of is the border jumper. Hatred can and will changes faces at a whim. Never be surprised if your face is next. Yes we are all equal in God's eyes. But it isn't up to you or I, who stays in this country and who doesn't belong. The law of the land is just that, it is the law. Yes this country does belong to the citizens. Regardless of what country you are from, if you entered illegally it is wrong. We won't even go into the diseases the illegals are bringing to the country. We had eradicated 40-50 yrs.ago are now back. Do you really think anyone wants to get sick? Or have their own children fall prey to a dread disease? So yes, there is resentment.
