My Dad, Ken Meliza, passed away on August 3, 2009. Raymon (Bette) Meliza of Mission Viejo, CA, is the lone survivor of the original 8 children. Broe and Minnie had 16 Grandchildren and 26 Great-grandchildren. The Broe Meliza's made Farmer City their home for many years, and cousins still live in surrounding towns. Broe's blacksmith shop stands today as Flood Plain Forge, the Meliza name still etched above the entrance in stone. Ken will be missed by family and friends alike.
