Does anyone know what the status on this case is? The article in the Auburn Journal doesn't exist.

Billy wasn't the driver. The trial will prove this. Hopefully he will get a fair and unprejudiced trial. I believe it is going on now.

Billy was not the driver because of the areas of his injury. I hope the trial is fair and Billy can get his life back!

Excuse me "Razor" but what about Shapton getting his life back? Billy Moon was driving that car. Shapton was cut out of the passenger seat and everyone knows that. Billy is lying and pinning it on his dead "friend". Money won't buy him out of this, and anyone who thinks he will get away with Shapton's murder is a moron.

It is nice to know you where there to see just what happened. If it was a slam dunk it would not of taken two years to show that. what do people in woodland know any way.

You're one to talk you live in a different state idiot stick. It takes two years to start building the case and the defense had to come up with a good story (a lie) to tell the jury.

Billy is a good friend of mine; I have known him for many years. We lived near each other in Orange County and played junior golf at Tustin Ranch GC. We were later on teammates at (csumb) Cal state university monterey bay. Itís tragic that a young man lost his life and another is on trial for the death of a good friend. I am new to all the evidence and have been reading everything I can find on the case. I am in tears about this situation and wish I could talk to my friend. I dont know how I would react if I were friends with shapton and did not know billy; I would probably blame Moon for the death of my friend regardless. Its devastating and depressing that two lives are lost in this horrible tragedy and my deepest sympathy goes out to both families.

I feel that everyone has lost something in all of this. Both families are suffering and people bashing the case isn't the way to go about it. I feel Billy is innocent and I plan on doing whatever it takes to prove it. I only wish I was a witness so that I could clear Billy's name of this tragic event. I love Billy like a brother and it would be a shame to not only loose Stuart, but Billy too.

Here is another example of the courts and jurors not listening or paying attention to the evidence which shows that the driver's side received the impact and that's why Billy lived. If Billy had been the driver, he would not be here today. This is tragic. I pray for all.

Does anyone know how long he has been sent away to jail for? How long will he serve if he doesn't get the appeal? I pray for everyone in this....

The reason Billy is alive today is because he wasnt wearing his seat belt which caused him to be thrown in the back set with is feet in between the seats. If he wasnt wearing his seat belt, he wouldnt be alive.
A seat belt was cut to remove the dead body and there was only one seat belt cut. How do you explain that one?
Billy is going to get what he has coming... even from his cell mates! A stupied kid, a stupied move! We all make mistakes and learn from them and he is getting a huge lesson right now.

OMG really? are you probably the same guy...who sits there behind a computer and feels better about himself because he is not in Billy's position...and finds it more satisfying to talk a bunch of SHIT (because you clearly do not know the facts of this case), so you point your finger at someone else. Why don't you worry about what you're doing with your life.
yeah, you take care buddy.

Hey "AJurior",
Let me quote you..."A stupied kid, a stupied move!" YOU are the STUPID one (notice the spelling). Yes, a seat belt was cut, but you have to realize that the car landed on it's right side (passenger side - for the stupid people out there). Billy's seat (the passenger seat) was fully RECLINED. Stewart was not wearing a seat belt so his body landed on top of Billy's and became entangled in BILLY's seat belt (if anyone's ever been in a flipped car, you would know this - but hopefully you haven't). They did cut the seat belt and remove Stewart first because he was on top of Billy. Billy's upper body WAS in the back seat of the car because his seat was fully reclined. And do not tell me that the injuries sustained by Stewart are consistent with NOT being the driver. All injuries were to his left side.
Please go to WWW.JUSTICEFORBILLY.COM and check it out for yourself.
Make sure you scroll down through every section and you will find pictures and scans of the car. As well as a diagram showing all of the injuries Sustained by Stewart. All Billy had was a fractured neck bone and a bruise to his lower left hip (consistent with someone wearing a passenger seat belt) from the seat belt.
Justice will prevail Billy. We love you.

A seat belt locks once there is some type of jolt or impact - how can a body "slip" through a locked seat belt? That's a good one! Those seats (in an infinity), when fully reclined, arent layed back all the way. You might want to sit in one of those cars, recline it and see for yourself.
I would like to know, how dose a weightless body "slip" into the passenger side seat belt when its locked? A seat belt was cut to REMOVE the dead body, not because both boys were in the same set with the same seat belt on or because a body slipped into it.
Have you thought that just maybe the injuries to Stewart were because Billy was tossed around like a rag doll and inflicted those injuries to Stewart? And just maybe the reason why Billy had a broken neck or fractured neck was because he was tossed around?
At least we got one druck driver off the streets for good. I dont want to be on the same road with him, he could end up taking my life too while driving drunk and blame it on me. Way to go Billy!! Want to talk about pointing fingers Brittany. He is pointing a finger at one person he killed and who cant fight for the truth! Coward!

As has been pointed out several times, the testimony of the firefighter was that he cut the seatbelt of the DEAD passenger - the most important evidence, and what ultimately convinced the jury to convict Mr. Moon. Everything else about what supposedly happened when the vehicle crashed and turned on its side is subjective interpretation, whether by an "expert" or others as depicted on the www.justiceforbilly.com website.

??? WHERE DID THE BOYS START DRINKING. IT IS MY UNDERSTANDING THAT THEY WHERE AT AUBURN VALLEY COUNTRY CLUB WHICH SHOULD BE LOOK AT REALLY CLOSE. HOW DID A MINOR RECIEVED ANY ALCOHOL. DID THE BAR SERVE A MINOR. DID THE BAR NOT CUT THE OTHER BOY OFF KNOWING THAT THERE ARE RULES IN CALIFORNIA ABOUT GIVEN A PERSON TO MUCH TO DRINK. DO THEY NOT HAVE ANY RESPONSIBLITY IN THIS CASE.
ANYBODY LOOK AT THAT.????????? MAYBE THEY SHOULD GO TO JAIL.
