Sure would be nice if the increased revenues were enough for the drivers raises AND restoring the service RT cut back at the start of the year. And RT did these things BEFORE considering system expansion or anything new.

RT is great fun. You can meet lots of great people on light rail. Great way to meet the people that make Sacramento a great place to live and work!!!!

Yup. You can meet the most interesting people on the light rail.
I would prefer riding the light rail to work(If I worked during the day)then driving to it.
The light rail isn't as bad as some people might lead you to believe. Gotta love the diversity in this city.

You must be high. It's safer to hitch on the freeway than to ride light rail. Try riding it through rancho....you'll have LOT's of fun and meet some really special people, just like you said.

Good way to meet the most interesting people?

Well, I guess that's one way to put it....hookers, drug dealers, wannabe gang-bangers, deadbeats, trolls,.....Yeah, I guess you're right. Just have your mace ready for when they don't like your answer to the inevitable "Hey, got some change for me man?"

Gas would have to be $10 a gallon before I even *thought* about riding the bus or lightrail, much less actually doing it. There are too many criminally insane filthy winos on RT. No thanks!
Ignorant fool. It isn't as bad as you think it is.

I guess it's all a matter of perspective. I personally would rather take my chances playing frogger on the freeway than taking light rail anywhere. But, to each his own.

Yes, to each his own... if you don't want to take the bus or lightrail, then don't.. if you do, do... freedom of choice to pay $4 or higher a gallon or take transit, if there was enough good people on the buses or lightrails, maybe it would over shadow the fricken idiots... and save you money.. Yes, other places may have better transit, then move there and use them, if not, then use this one, and when they get more fundage, they will improve it... they are trying to make it similar to Seattle... just takes the fundage....

What exactly is this "fundage" that you speak of? I'm not familiar with that term. It sounds like a kind of fungus. Just wonderin'....
