Should local businesses resume drug testing? Seems to be some nut cases running around again. Where do we start? Is it true teachers and law enforcement are exempt?

Yes, all businesses should drug test. Anybody that is against this is a junkie themselves and should be in prison forever. Teachers and "law enforcement", if they are exempt, this would explain a lot.

We are back round checked, fingerprinted, drug tested, and constantly evaluated. Only a school boards can "provisionally" certify an employee. Now if we could stop all this nonsense about bad teachers and realize that school employees have to jump more hoops than most.

Not only should employers have the right to have employees pass a drug test, but even more importantly, society should Demand that Anyone receiving Public Assistance should be required to pass a random drug test. Anyone receiving Food Stamps, AFDC, Subsidized housing, etc.,etc., should be drug free if they expect to panhandle off the efforts of others.

"seagate"you are a little close-minded yourself. you know not everyone that is getting public assistance is panhandling off the efforts of others, some of us out here might just happen to need the help right now.lost job, death in family, divorce. you're awful quick to judge.
