... and stickin' it to the school board, and to other administrators, and to teachers they don't like, and to the newspaper, and to other parents they don't like, and to students who disagree with their views, and in just a few moments, to Dale Martin. Let's keep it goin'...

Hey, is Dale coming to the party? Wasn't he invited? Don't you wanna get to know him, or him to get to know you, especially in your natural element of schadenfreude?

Who cares about Martin? He had nothing to do with any of this. What on earth makes anyone think that people will systematically turn on him? Reasonably, people should only be frustrated if/when Martin does something counter to their wishes - isn't this the way it works (generally speaking) in other facets of life?

Yeah, he is totally oblivious to what has gone on here for the past year or two, and will ignore all this topix stuff. Yeah, that's the way it works in other facets of life... if you compartmentalize like Bill Clinton. Talk about naivete, Geeeeeeeeez.

And how do you think the rest of the community views all of this garbage? I know you don't care how people think about it, but I ask you do you realize what others think? There are employees here who continue to embarass themselves, even though their nemesis is gone.

Sure they'll turn on Dr. Martin -- they already have turned on the school board, Disler, and they have turned on colleagues. There is a pattern, if you haven't noticed. How about another ad in the Shoppers' Weekly?

Do you really think Martin is going to be the union's lap dog? Do you think that is why the school board hired him unanimously? If that's what you think, you really haven't been paying attention. And so, it is just a matter of time...

This is why Joe Lopez wasn't selected for superintendent in Coldwater. There is just too much sewage to wade through, the board had to bring someone fresh and unconnected to the local environment to finish the job started by MH.

Party while you can tonight -- your joy will be shortlived.

I hope CCS can now be on the mend and bury the hatchet. It's time to regroup, forgive, and start doing what we're best at doing--changing students' lives for the better. I hope that our school board can learn from the past and begin with a fresh outlook. I hope that they can appreciate the fine staff members that are part of CCS and work with our new leadership to build on the strengths, as well as improve on the weaknesses, of each individual staff member. I hope that there will be a new resolve NOT to blow situations out of proportion, not to turn every problem into a supposed "grievous act" and not to assume the worst about people. I hope that a new climate of trust, respect and TRUE communication (open,two-way, fair, unbiased) can exist in every building of our district. Onward and upward!!

I see how Coldwater works. Theoutspoken minority did not like Ms. Haug and they did bury the hachet.... Right in Dr. Martin's back. It is nice to see that a union can not speak up for themselves and take their concerns to their students and parents that they know will push their agenda. And it goes on and on and.......
