flood zone "a" ???

Has anyone in the Branch county lakes area recieved a letter from there mortgage co. explaining that you need flood insurance? Apparently our good friends at FEMA have re-classified us as flood zone "A" HIGH RISK. I'm finding the rates for this insurance are costly, another bill I don't need. What to do? Where to turn? ANYBODY ELSE OUT THERE WITH INFO?
