okay thats kinda funny bc i happen to be 17 years old. i go to mchs and im currently 3rd in my class so obviously im not a dumb a$$.i work two jobs,cheer,tumble, and run track. im a senior taking college alg, college english, AP US history, and sociology at western. and according to u , "i had my face in the foil"??? well u have ur face in this computer constantly on this website. ur prolly an overweight adult that has no career and has nothing better to do with their spare time but run their mouth about other ppl bc ur unhappy with urself. there is a thing called counciling for ppl like u that are unhapppy. Now im going to be an adult about this and leave it at that.. like i said before..opinions are like a$$holes, everyone has one.

well isnt ya a smart one i find that hard to beleive going to metcalfe county high.yes i am an over weight adult who works hard for a liveing i cant spell correctly either because i was to busy bein cool in metcalfe county high 23 years ago i was allways gettin my ass beat by mr toms paddle for being evil. and im sending one kid to uk and another next year so im not doin to bad. for your information i use the computer for research for my company and ran across topix two days ago checking accuweather.i went to school with doug he was a great guy back then he was with the ambulance and fire service and didnt even drink with us cool kids. when i first read this i was blowed away at what i have read about him.beleive me im not perfect in any way and not as smart as you claim to be but i have never put my children in harms way to say people make mistakes what an understatment. what would people say if the children would have died also then the story would change.and for the people who say get off their ass's and do somthing about it what are they suppose to do go in there homes with guns and take a chance at gettin killed there self yea right.and beleive me by the time the kids get old enough to read this crap it will be all forgotten till someone other idiot trys it.i think topix is a joke and should be wiped of the enternet.i just wanted to see if i could rattle some cages and i succeeded.so dont come back on here sayin im a un eduecated jerk who has no feeling for people like them your right i dont this will be my last trip here and i acomplished my goal

Well nothing ever happened to Melissa since her parents came up with lots of money. In this town, it's not "what" u know but "who" u know. Doug's family members are mostly a bunch of drunks & snobs, so u couldn't expect him to be any different.

you know this had been left alone for a while now .. and because someone drives by her house or hears something like she got married it has to start again... you know donita she is married again to a guy she knew back in her school years and her fancy house you say well it was a repo and she bought it to be close to her parents with the boys and she started from scratch to fix it up it took a lot of sweat and hard work for her to get it fixed to move her boys in ... and as far as insurance money how much did she get you seem to know so much i've been there since before the boys was even born and i never heard of the insurance money you talk of so how do you know so much about all of this .... the way i see it you don't know , you are just talking about this family and running them down again . doug and melissa did do wrong BUT 1/4 of this county ( and its people you don't think it would be ) are messing with this stuff so i think i would watch how i bash someone on here because it can come home to you ... as for myself it has came home to be with a brother / brother inlaw and sister inlaw so don't think it can't because it can . you know i did my support at rehab. and just hoped it was doing some good but i think the jail time did them better than anything . i just don't know why people keep having to bring this up i know for a fact its hard enough on dougs mom and dad .. its not a day goes by that they don't talk of doug .. good and bad ... and as far as melissa its good that she found someone for herself and the boys that will be good to them . someone can never be replaced but sometimes there are good ones that can make it a little easier on the family. so if dougs mom and dad can except this marriage and they have then its nothing to the rest of us myself included. lets just let this die and quit passing judgement there are alot in this world that should have got jail time and didn't for some reason or the other . jailtime should have come while doug was living and maybe he would still be with us and melissa and the boys could still be a family with him .. lets just wish this family the best because it could have been mine or yours !!!!

I agree with Donita, She should BE IN JAIL NOW, she knew exactly what was going on, you could look at her when she was working in the store and tell she was a user herself. Not to mention her big lawyer she had, plus daddys money to bail her out. Goes to show if you have money to throw, stuff dissappears real quick. If she had been a person with no financial means to pay out of it. She would be in jail today and thats a FACT. I did think it was a shame for the kids to have to be with someone that allowed them to be subjected to being around that mess. Wonder if during the explosion if it had killed the kids, how she would have felt or if she would have still been walking free. If Doug would have lived thru this, he should have went to jail as well as her. I cannot stand drugs or be around people that do them. Any that i suspect in my area i have no problem calling police and reporting them either.

if you suspected it when you went into the store then i wished you had of reported that , then things might not or wouldn't be the way it is .....

I agree with everything you said, but you don't understand, these people on here are also addicts, of gossip, I am a firm believer that an experience like this can change people for the good, this I am speaking from expereience, I have family that has gone thru the meth thing, and it opened their eyes up. But even after their eyes are open and they have change, people still are not going to let you forget, in our socity there is no forgivness once you do wrong. And unless any of us posting were THERE, we do not know what really went on.

thank you for your comment , i can see there are people out there that have the experience to know what they are talking about on this subject. if some of our tax paying money can be saved this day and time and the person has changed lets save it, this isn't no different then what you read it the paper, other then she didn't go for a few hours and then let out and she hasn't messed up yet to go back , read the newspaper 1st time a few hours in and then out they are usually repeat and repeat offenders that go and stay.right or wrong thats how the system works. and as for her messing up my money is on she has changed and you want hear of her messing up, some can change i've witnessed it
