Procedure:
I used regular apple cider vinegar (Kroger brand) that is about $2 a bottle. It works just find but I guess you could use organic if you wanted to.
I experimented with techniques a lot and I found that it was best to put the vinegar on a small piece of cotton (ripped off of a cotton ball or cotton makeup pad).
You soak that small piece in vinegar and then place it on the pad of a small, round Band-Aid made for small spots. This step is meant to avoid any dripping of vinegar since it will irritate your normal, healthy skin as well (this happened to me when I originally used regular Band-Aids and the red skin went away after a month... so use the small round band aids).
You can keep the band-aid on over night and take it off in the morning if it's in a visible place. If it's not, you can just change the Band-Aid and keep it on during the day as well which will help it leave quicker which is always nice.
What to expect:
On average, most moles took about 4-5 days. Some came off quicker and some took longer so I guess it just depends on the root of the mole.
The moles usually start to swell after the first day and they sometimes will ache a bit (if it hurts a lot than you should probably stop but it never did for me). It will then start to shrivel and it'll turn blackish with some white around the edges (dead skin) and will get all funky. It will be like a scab and you can pick it off if you are impatient or wait (preferred) until it falls off by itself.
Underneath, you will have a fresh spot of pink skin (pretty bright pink actually). Make sure to tend to that spot with some Vaseline or aloe or something to help it heal up quickly.
But like I said, I've done this on my face (had a mole right between the eyes) while I was attending classes at college. So, it's not like you are going to have a gaping oozing wound on your face. It just turns darker than normal and falls off.
If anybody has questions, just e-mail me. I've done this a lot and am going to do it more so just ask if you are scared or unsure of how to go about this despite my (hopefully) in depth description.
Good luck!
