They all get to suck on the fat of the district until retirement with ever increasing salaries. Some continually whine about the teachers. Some never acknowledge the real money issue at the board office. Some people do not really care about the future of the district. Some people get some elected to the school board and want to plant trees.

While these may seem like very high salaries to some people, for people of the education and experience level required, it isn't. They could be making much more in the private sector. For example I see Goetz listed. I assume it is Mark Goetz and not the old mayor LOL, he has brought in many times his salary in grants to the school system, http://captus.samhsa.gov/southeast/specialpro... . Like it or not, this is what you have to pay to attract quality people into these positions. But once again these are just the few top level positions, not the bevy of high paid flunkies that some have indicated were there. FYI...MG is not the district grant writer. The person doing all the grant writing only makes about half that salary.

LOL another person with no REAL information wanting to be believed. If you make a statement of something you are claiming to be fact, post the information that backs it up! 1. Who is the grant writer? 2. Does that mean Mark Goetz has never applied for or gotten a grant for the district? 3. Even if you are correct, what does this have to do with the point of my post?

The salaries are still very high for education. Compare them to other districts. Our super makes about 50 k more than boone countys which has 20 schools compared to our 5 which will be 4 soon.

That is beside the point, but once again what are the salaries and where did you get your information? If you want to argue that our top people are over paid thats fine, but I have yet to see anything that supports the claims of dozens of people earning huge salaries at the central office.

You are right Paul, and what a major contribution to society you have been as well. Central office is fine, we need 5-6 people making over 100k, and a PR man making 80k(while the school Co-op program gets bad PR in every paper in NKY)

You want facts about that too. Askwhy your in there talking to your buddy Brandt. Quit asking for facts, the fact is Brandt and his croonies are running this system into the ground.

I am just sick of people making assumptions and posting them as facts.

You have been supporting the overspending for quite some time. You are only on here asking questions to try to figure out who is posting what. We all know who you are.

Once again, imaginations run wild. Who do you think I am? I haven't supported anything on these boards except the truth. If someone asking for facts gets in the way of your argument, then you have no argument.
