Mike was the kindest individual. He was a credit to his family and should be remembered as such.

Our community lost a bright star this weekend- Michael brought joy to many, and will be missed greatly. Our love and sympathy to his family and friends, he was loved by many and will be remembered always.

We will never really know the reason "why," other than to say this is a tragic event that snuffed out a bright life way too soon. For those left behind, our sympathy and love- and hope there is comfort in the days ahead that there is a new angel in heaven, for anyone knowing Michael surely knows that he is with God now, and safe in His care.

Honestly, your a pathetic individual if all you have to do with your time is sit on a news forum and make jokes about a young person's death. He was a very well known, well liked person who will be missed by many. Your disgusting. Were you with him? Do you know how fast or "reckless" he was driving? It's people like you that we don't need on this planet, Mike deserves to be here.

I know for a fact that Michael was NOT speeding, the turn he took to get onto the exit ramp was an exit where, according to police, many accidents and fatalities occurred. Please ignore these fools on this forum who have negative things to say about a 21 year old who did nothing wrong.

every one really needs to stop...whatever happened happened no need to comment on it, lets all just remember to keep his family and friends in our prayers as the holiday season is upon us, and there is one more family that has lost a child, I knew him really well and he was a beautfil soul, and right now I know myself as well as others are in a considerable amount of pain so why don't we leave are negative comments at the door and just keep everyone in our prayers...

My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Although I do not know Michael well enough to say whether or not he was speeding at the time, I do know that he lost his life and that he left family members behind who will miss him dearly. It is amazing to me that anyone could comment on why he died and use that as an excuse to why he should have died. It is very rare that a 21 year old college student should die. I have never lost anyone very close to me, but I would imagine that the pain and suffering his parents and siblings are undergoing are far beyond anything many of us can imagine, leaving no room for our rude and inconsiderate comments about this child's death. And if you can imagine it, bring back the memories of that time and feel some kind of sympathy for this family. As a teacher I always tell my students, Thumper's mom said it best, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." (Bambi, Disney Movie)

Anybody who is taking time out of their day to criticize the way our friend Mike passed on clearly has no sense of maturity .

This is one of the only articles online for friends and family of Mike across the country who are trying to find out what happened to him in this tough time.

Just keep the Piegares in your prayers this thanksgiving, and quit the bs non-sense.

God Bless you Mike

Mike- You are missed by friends and family. Your time on this earth was way to short. Only the fact that you are in a better place helps everyone get through this.

We dropped flowers at the scene of the accident today, and smoked a cigar on the drive home, to celebrate the passing of one of the most genuinely happy and enjoyable souls I have ever come into contact with on this earth.

Hey OhWellShitForBrains and anyone else being insensitive to this story. It doesn't matter whose fault it is! Maybe he was going a little too fast....have YOU never done that? Seriously, think about it. Can you honestly sit there and say that you obey every single traffic law out there and always have? Have you never once sped, talked on the phone, forgot your turn signal, etc?

The bottom line is a 21 yr old boy is dead and as a mom of 2 boys who knows his family and extended family, they are completely devastated by this. If and when you have kids, you may understand how insensitive your comments are. Grow up and go away. This family will NEVER be the same again, their whole lives were destroyed in a split second...think about that a--hole!
