My family and I went there tonight. Very disappointed. Loud crappy music. The food cold, and not much of it. Terrible this time! Won't go back. Also way overpriced!!

It seems like Pat got real cheap. They used to give a free meal on birthdays and that got squashed once he started making money. Then they raised prices on alot of the commonly ordered items and some good items like the chili were taken off the menu. I was there a few weeks ago and the dumb waitress sat our family party in the bar with echoing, overly loud irish music playing. We had to ask to be moved and she had no reason to sit us there because the main dining area was wide open with tables. Food has seemed to go down hill as well lately.

Kirby’s is definitely the place for ribs. I’m at a point where I just eat home. Going out to eat is too damn expensive and it seems like service is horrible in general no matter where you go. Stay away from Friendly’s in North Utica. You’ll be there forever waiting for a simple melt!

I was always amazed at those who said they like Piggy Pats. The place is, and always was... CRAP. Want good BBQ, go to Syracuse' Dinosauer BBQ - that is the real deal. Piggy Pats is a joke.

This is the same place that covered for Trooper Sullivan - dancing around sworn statements about his drinking to try to keep him out of trouble. What if someone was hit by this guy - would they still be covering? How about for someone else?

i agree with above posters.... the food is average at best. dinosaur is very good barbeque... sad that we in the utica area don't have quality places to compare to.

If anyone is ever in Gloucester, Mass. do yourself a favor and try 'Smokin' Jim's' Barbeque!! OMG!!! Dinosaur is good but they cannot even compare. Small establishment, no real seating. Done outside with nice, big smokers. I was going to a nice antique shop next to them ( while on my way to lunch) and I had to stop for an "appitizer". The next night we ordered up a ton of ribs w/ many sides to bring back to the motel and eat pool side/sea side. Small business but sooo good.

P.S. this man is probably one of the few black men in Gloucester and for some reason he moved to Gloucester from the South. He has a web site.

went there once and will never go back. Worst BBQ meal I have ever had by far, small portions, not very tasty. I always thought that maybe we caught them on a bad night, guess thats the norm.

ate there last week-for the cost to feed my wife and 2 little ones-I could have ate at Delmonicos!!rip off. best things-my kids were playing on swingset when we can relax and have a drink.
