What got me not liking her is when she started talking about buying her cloth at thrift stores. I do not know why someone with money tries to hide that they spend a lot of money on cloth and other things. It is their money to spend how they want. I do not like it when someone tries to justify what they spend their money on or lie about it. Why can she not just say she is rich and will spend her money the way she wants, it would be closer to the truth

I agree. And if I had to change clothes two or three times a day, 7 days a week, attend banquets, etc.- I'd certainly expect the Republican party to furnish me some clothes.$150,000 may seem like a lot but say 100 days hmm....or $1500 a day rounding, that's about 2 complete outfits a day - not my kind of outfits - but the deigner suits, etc that she was expected to wear. They wanted her to look good - they gotta pay up. I can't stand Palin, but I thought it weird how they went bonkers about her clothes.

John, what awful things to say. I believe she is disliked because she and her family are down to earth average Americans. I do not know why people would think she and her husband are rich. They are a hard working couple. Tod works for a oil company spending up to one month at the Tundra. Tod and Sarah also commercial fish together during the fishing season. She is an outstanding Governor, as well as having been a great Council Woman and Mayor.
She is a wonderful mother, meeting her daughter Piper's school bus outside the Capitol building each day. She is a wonderful multi tasker working together with her husband to raise a wonderful family. Having heard many of their friends discussing Sarah and Tod's loyality to friends and family, I would be proud to have them as a friend.
Greta on Fox had a two night special in Alaska with Sarah and her family. I hope it will be repeated and you have a chance to watch it. Greta is a Democrat, and has spoke so highly of Sarah and her family during the entire presidental race. Greta also had a special with Tod Palin. One of Sarah's friends stated in the beginning of the presidental race that Sarah shopped in resale shops and Wal Mart. I hope the American people will leave her and her family alone and let them enjoy their lives in awesome Alaska.
