Whats the problem with the school admins in Montgomery Co? Schools all around Mont. Co. cancelled today but not Indy, coffeyville or Caney, why? Knowing the snow was not stoppping and conditions were getting worse they didnt let school out early making it even more dangerous getting the children home. Do they think our children's lifes are not important? Why would they put them at risk in this way? I for one will not send my children to school in these conditions again. Its sad to think the admins think no more of our childrens safety than they proved today.

Der what about north east and west of us? I stated all around Mont Co not only south. Apparently you were sleeping when we got the sleet early this morning before the snow started and you didnt get out on the roads today.

Well, they didn't cancel my work... Why should they cancel school. I commend the school systems for showing our kids that you don't quit just because something is a little difficult, you push forward and do what needs to be done without bitchin and moanin...

With that being said, Shut your cry baby mouth.

If you cant drive a school bus in snow then you shouldnt be driving a school bus. Maybe we should shut school down when it rains...roads are dangerous then too.

Don't be stupid. I'm responsible for the lives of those kids, and I'd rather not be shepherding them around in zero visibility and slick roads, with idiots like you zipping around on them.

look, if you can't handle your job, than quit. There are plenty of people in need of jobs.

As a "professional" driver, you should be able to navigate (the route you drive about 200 times per year) enough to get your job done. So once again I say, quit your bitchin' do your job. Quit thinkin' you're going to get a day off due to weather that makes things slow down a little, but damn sure shouldn't make them come to a screaching halt because lazy ass people like you don't want to get the hell out and do your job.

So yes, shut your cry baby ass up...

I don't know about other schools, but the Cherryvale superintendent got up at 4:00 a.m. and drove the routes from north to south, and east to west. He said the roads were fine, so we had school all day. No one was in any danger.

The roads were fine. A little snow had fallen, big deal. I wonder if the parent who was complaining about having school on Friday, is the same one who was too hungover to take their child to school since they figured school would be cancelled on Friday and wound up drinking all night?
