eliminated the icu director today. crmc had started to become a decent hospital for a town of this size. however, it doesn't matter how many hight falutin doctors they get to come here with titles, if they don't have loyal employees running the departments who know what they are doing. crmc in my opinion is cutting it's own throat. they keep adding on and adding on ... for what??? they have lost my trust for sure. they have eliminated several very loyal dedicated educated depaartment heads that ran their departments correctly. now these departments are in chaos which means the patients are not receiving the care they deserve and are paying for. very sad for the community

The biggest problem are the doctors. They only think of themselves and how much money they are gonna get out of whatever situation. Several of them are allowed to run the hospital and admin will not cross them on anything. So with this going on you get an unethical, dishonest, and dysfunctional work place. You don't hear of too many of the doctors trying to help with the money problem. All they care about is how they can get, whatever it may be, setup to put money in their pocket.

The new CEO's head has gotten so big it won't hardly fit in his big room. He is ruining the hospital, you can not keep getting rid of the long time employees & expess a good success rate in the long term. They are the ones that know what is going on and are the backbone of the hospital. He is now down to just a few directors with any seniority. And you are right he ruining their retirement for them. If the board keeps listening to him Coffeyville won't have a hospital! Ask the retired CEO what he thinks about all these changes the new CEO is implimenting. Because new CEO wanted to do this before he was at the helm running the show and the former CEO shut him down.

You obviously don't know anything about what you are talking about because if you did you wouldn't have made this statement! All people have feelings no matter what their size, shape, color, ect maybe you should look in your backyard before you start spouting off your mouth & begin by cleaning up your own backyard because I'm sure it isn't spotless!!!!!!! You are a very mean and hurtful person that needs to do some real soul searching in order to really like yourself.

good job...I don't think so. crmc charges $2000.00 for an mri of the neck. Jane Phillips in B'ville cost is $695.00. if crmc is over charging the hell our of their loyal community, then why in the hell are they going broke and cutting good peoples jobs?????? They won't even help a working white person with no or little insurance until they pay upfront. BUT,,,,,,,,,,need I say more????

So what are you one of the top 5 mentioned
or are your eyes just that matted and naive. You did not notice the very questionable things going on. What about all those new things going on. what about the lies and back stabbing. What about all those walked out the doors in the last say 2 months and whom where they replaced by. Better wake up.

Strong arm tactics, They have a set bunch coming in and slowly taking over, You can read the writing on the wall if you just look. Oh yea do not take it to far as to the upper five plus a few off campus that are supposedly enemy's, they trade information back and forth and they are the problem with CRMC.

I however would agree with you on one think they get rid of the remaining 4 mentioned along with their adversary's CRMC could go back to making real money and be a great place to work.

Well lets see here from Dr.. Cutting dead weight or is it the weight that is in the way. It seems that your so called dead weight is the brains of the place. You must be Mrs. God
As to ywah There is a difference in licking to work for some place and how a place is run and when it is your turn due to age, race, color, religion, or you are in the way of a few with a more sinister agenda like for themselves are you going to be so cheery about CRMC/

I would say that there is starting to be some transformation going on their and that is good there are a few gone now and more going but it needs to be looked very hard at the top 6 as this post started out. What is the deal that if you talk to these top 6 individuals they all hate each other but they all like each other and now some are moving to Parsons hospital. Are they accomplishing what they set out to do and break the CRMC or is there better offers from another hospital that has its own issues. Just what is up with Mrs. God in HR and her partying ways who dose she have her eyes on now? What about these others that have been replaced by some one with little to know experience or training in the fields. Why are the people pre chosen for employment by who’s who and not by qualifications. It appears a deliberate attempt to cause chaos, disorder and confusion for a purpose. I have no experience running a hospital but I can rest assured that I could make it run far more efficient and profitable just on common since to start.
What is the true story behind the X-CFO may of been a good start by why stop there

The really bad thing about CRMC is that it could be a wonderful place to work if the top brass would let people do there work without all the socialist propaganda and trying to make the selves look good. I have news flash for those idiots you only look stupid and you keep firing the wrong persons. I don’t care what crap flows from your mouth about what you’ve done, seen, or been, and I sure do not care about your degrees especially when they have no relation to what you are doing. I have ordered new dunce hats. I will start with a dozen hopefully I wont need more than that. As long as things are slowly cleaning up.

I didn't think they could refuse services for those that have none or very little insurance . They are not a private hospital and don't they get finds from government? Medicare etc.

The Emergency Room cannot refuse services to anyone regardless of ability to pay, however most elective tests or procedures will not be scheduled without payment arrangements made first.

labtech101, you sound like someone who has been fired from the hospital for poor work performance, or someone who has been counseled. Your gross exaggerations and downright slander are the products of someone who is bitter and irrational. Particularly since you name people in the HR department, it is obvious you have been called in there under unfortunate circumstances.
You might convince someone who doesn't know how a hospital is run or someone who is as bitter as you, but I know plenty of hospital employees and managers who love their jobs and are loyal to our city hospital. And I am in a position to know that there is nothing illegal or unethical going on there.
People, please find out your truth from a better source than this. Many people are mad at our hospital for various reasons, but just as many, if not more, are very pleased with employment there and with the care they receive there.
Just to share a fact with you crmc is a very poor example of a hospital i have been to er several times for injuries and once i sat in the er for 2 hours before i recieved any type of care. Another time i went and was checked out by the doctor and he told me they dont know whats wrong with me and they may never know, so i had to pay 1500 dollars for that visit just so he could tell me that. Yeah what a lovely hospital it is huh!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like a sore vagina to me! A 2 hour wait in ANY ER is not uncommon! Seems to me that people often mistake the word "emergency" with convenience, causing un-necessary ER visits! How about scheduling an appointment at the doctors office the next time your yearning for hydros, it might have even saved you about a grand!!! Or I might recommend changing your maxi pad yourself and quit bad mouthing the people who might save your life one day!!!!!!!!!!

CRMC has always been and always will be a political cess pool. It will always be a substandard hospital, no matter how many wings they add on it is a band aid station. Ask yourself this: How many ambulances do you see transferring patients from Bartlesville to CRMC, Caney to CRMC, Cherryvale? Nowata? They transfer all their problems as do most hospitals. The issue is making the decision in time to save your life instead of milking another $20 disposable razor from your insurance company.

I beleive these people that left to go to Parons could not handle being under John Smith any longer. They could see he is bringing the hospital down and they jumped ship. John Smith needs to go back to wherever he came from because he sure as heck only cares about 1 person - himself.

Go union. They almost did over a decade ago. It scared management so bad, there was a crap load of changes. Med surg nurses back then took 15 patients a piece. They almost went union, and all that changed.

Even the serious threat of going union would make for major changes......
If the nurses at crmc went, or even got close to union, john smith would be unemployed.

Ask some of the older employees what happened last time this almost happened...

100% change for the better.

go union.
