Gov Brownturd

A bill that allows pharmacists and doctors to deny women access to contraception has been signed into law by Kansas Governor Sam Brownback. This new law is just one of many bills that the Republican governor has signed since he came into office. He has recently signed legislation that pressures abortion clinics with new regulations, legislation that imposes long waiting times to get an abortion, and legislation that bans insurance companies from covering abortion procedures.

Well it looks like Brownback is creating jobs for Kansans. What do you think the starting wage is for a back alley abortionist. Maybe the free market will decide.

So very tired of being embarrassed to call Kansas 'home' - our state government continues to make us the laughingstock of the nation.

I work for a living as well. So I also care about how our tax money is spent. We can either pay a one time fee for an abortion, or we can pay every month to support these kids on welfare. Do the math. Abortion is fiscally conservative.

Some morals and values would help. Don't see much of that around here....

or we can force them to get jobs and make a living for themselves. Save the welfare for the people who need it.

Are you people really that stupid? All the bill did was expand on a law that has been on the books since 1969 which basically says that anyone who feels that abortion is morally wrong does not have to participate in it. The new law targets the abortion pill "Ru-486" which is not contraception or even the "morning after pill". "RU-486" chemically induces abortion.

Within the bill it states that the Pharmacist or doctor would have to "reasonably believe" that the drug would terminate a pregnancy which contraception does not because it blocks the egg from getting fertilized in the first place.

If you people would actually educate yourselves instead of reading what the left wing pro-abortion people want you to believe then you wouldn't be so quick to jump on the band wagon and then look so stupid.

You are stupid. This is the fifth law Brownback has passed to restrict women's rights in Kansas. The GOP's War on Women is real.

The ONLY war on women is those stupid enough to believe everything they hear without using their brains to research and read and get educated. The real war on women is waged by the stupid women.

If you don't want to children, if you can't afford children, then pull your head out of your ass and use one of several options there are for not getting pg in the first place....DUH! Explain to me why I should be responsible for your decision to not protect yourself from pregnancy.

If anyone with any knowledge of history knew about how abortion or birth control started, and progressed, they wouldn't support it. Planned Parenthood, was founded and funded by racists, who wanted to wipe out the so-called "inferior races". Look up Margaret Sanger, who was the founder of Planned Parenthood, and was the spokeswomen for many years.

Look into forced sterilizations opposed upon black, brown, and native people here in the US, by the same people pushed by the Democratic Party, and Barack Obama. Did you know that blacks are three times as likely to abort their babies than whites? Also, twice as many blacks have been aborted than have died from AIDS, violent crimes, car accidents, cancer, and heart disease COMBINED.

I'm native/white but this genocide needs to stop.

Because a single cell on another planet IS a sign of life. Just not complex life, like what is seen on our planet.

women in texas are being forced to go into mexico to buy abortion pills. they take these pills then end up in the hospital with severe bleeding. they don't know what they are doing without a doctor. same thing is about to happen in kansas since the bloc of moderate republicans was voted out and now the crazy pro-life gov can advance his ultra-conservative agenda further.

not the whole truth. slanted and warped view. martin luther king accepted the margaret sanger award. how do you explain that?

sanger wanted to prevent back-alley abortions which is why she opened the first birth control clinic.

Mcaid already covers contraception. Therefore if they aren't using it responsibly in the first place. To equate money with a life shows how the morals of this society is accepting Sodom and Gamora(? spelling) way.
