Share your thoughts about present trash collection service and the changes, if any, you would like to see when new contract is negotiated in April.

Go back and look at the existing thread. People e-mailed you back then.. You never answered then..WHAT in the He!! makes you think we will believe you now?

THAT sir, is what we think... WE already stated what we thinkl.. YOU did not care then...I don't think you actually care now.

Why did you not listen then?.. Go back in the archive.. Find the thread. THAT is what we think.

Here you go Jimmy...I even did the heavy lifting for you...I doubt if you even take the time to read through it though...Like I said,'\you didn't care before. Why should we believe you now?

I guess we can assume one of two things..

#1. This was not really Jim Taylor. So the question was moot.

#2. It was the real Jim Taylor and he really does not care since he never replied...Either way, the question is moot..

But it does show us what a fake he is.. But for those who voted him in. What did you expect?

Sometimes ole Pee(Bobby Tracy)line is a goof, but this time he has a really good idea. The only problem with it is the city would be at the mercy of the landfill. But that would creat a few jobs for the city.

Hi lee.......... shut up

What gets me is the driver will get out of his truck to place a note saying the bag wasnt in the can. Wouldnt it be just as easy to pick up the bag when he got off the truck?

contract it,the city is run by a contractor, mental hospitals contract them, hospitals contract them, prisons contract them, county jails contract them, schools contract them, landfills contract them, wars contract them, fire department contract it
,road repairs contract them, you need a job join the military or go to a temporary service contractor!!to much government control is bad it could lead to heath insurance retirement plans and permanent jobs

The last I heard . Its all about Insurance now days. They can not risk a person hurting their back while lifting your garbage unless it is properly in whatever you are using to hold your garbage .
Was not that long ago where I live, that if they could not see a bag in my garbage holder, they would not even get out of the truck to check. It must be a different driver now days .

You know it's hard to stuff a couch, recliner and a weeks worth of trash into your can. Maybe you should take that kind of crap to the land fill your self. thats what I do where I live

Well Santa , did I say anything about a couch or anything else of that size for that matter. Seems all I said was that it was about Insurance and how some dumb trash truck driver could not even get out of his truck to check and see if I had any trash to pick up . Sorry if I do not usually have much more than 1 ( one ) bag of trash a week and sometimes it does not stick up enough to be seen from 15 feet away in the trash truck.
I remember a time when the men who worked off the trash truck took the time to walk up to your house and get your cans if you forgot to take them down to the curb. When once they emptied your cans they would sit them down where they got them and not just fling them how they may. When they would bend over and pick up some loose trash that was around your trash cans.
But I forget, that was a time when most everyone took pride in the work they did . No matter how big or small. When People did not scream oh I hurt my back, just so they could go home and lay around and yet still draw a nice paycheck by sueing who they worked for or getting some sort of disability.
I will be the first to admit I am a Bum. I love to sit around and do nothing. If I had the money to pay my bills thats what I would do . But I will not make a faults claim to do so. When I am at work I work my butt off. I go the extra mile and my Boss' would tell you that also.
But I digress. Oh by the way . I am allowed to put a couch or chair or other large items out to be picked up. But if I do have several large items I will load them up and take them to the landfill myself. Thank you !

I wish that if you give the contract this next time they have to go back to the first one that they made with the city! They entered into that contract then after all the other trash companys went out they started going back on the fist one and cutting services now they think they have a monopoly on the trash services in this town now and can get more money again and less services to the people of Coffeyville!!!!!!!! If they will not go back to the first contract then find another company or the city could get a couple of there own trucks.

Allied Waste is a joke. They flagged my cart because it wasnt at the curb, 2 foot from the roadway. Well i dont have a curb, it is a ditch 2 foot from the road. Afete i sent a complaint to the city a supervisor came and looked at my "curb" or lack of one and told me to keep puting it where it was. The driver must not have wanted to get out of his truck. I wish we still had check mark for trash. They did a good job.

I have not had trash service since Dec. 18th. I can understand them getting behind because of the holiday's and the weather, but come on!!! I think everyone who has missed a contractual pickup should subtract 20 to 25% off of their bill(depending on how many pickups you were scheduled for that month). We pay for the service and it isn't being done.
