It was great! Probably one of the best parades in Coffeyville in years.

Angie, you obviously are negative about everything that has to do with Coffeyville. You know what? Keep your stank Indy a$$ up north. I hope you find some satifaction and happiness in your life instead of trying to troll and tear everything down.
Life is what you make it, and sure, it may be in very simple things.

For the record, my husband and I have become a bit disenchanted with this area, but we decided to go to the parade in Coffeyville and we had an absolute best time because there were so many people there who just wanted to come together as a community and have some fun.

I was there with my young children and there was an older couple there taking pictures of the parade. People in the parade were throwing candy and my little ones were having a hard time getting to the candy before other people scooped it up. This couple saw that, and even though they had no children with them, they would pick up what they could and hand it to my children so they would not have to go out in the street. My children and I thanked them, and they just smiled and said "This is what Christmas is about, people doing things for each other, especially the children." I talked to them a little more and found out they were both here for other jobs that were temporary, but they were both published photographers who needed to supplement their income in this economy. They were such an adorable older couple. They were amazed by the number of people who actually attended the parade and aside of them picking up the candy that the kids around them could not quite get to, their laughter and their enjoyment of the parade (as simple as it was) really warmed my heart. I never got their names, but I want to thank them again for being so kind to my family and the families of the people aound them.
Merry Christmas.

I'm not singling out Coffeyville's parade. I hate all parades everywhere. It makes me happy.

Angie/Cindy--

Your hatred of parades is duly noted and said opinion has been filed in the appropriate circular file.

Have a wonderful day.
