There are a lot more problems at this jail facility than financial!! In- human treatment of prisoners, building code issues for capacity, delay and emergency medical situations. Also, they use online canteen and phone services that have loan shark rates, and then provide no services while only claiming that they dont know how to use the system very well! Just a tax paying citizen that is tired of dirty politics in MO!

Just to let you all know the Pattonsburg Jail is nothing more than a slum being run by a dictator or dictators, they are serving food marked not fit for human consumption the amount of food served is less than adequate.
While only being a visitor I was treated very well by the employees of the jail, the problem isn't the employees it is in the Leadership which needs to be changed one of the leaders claims to be s good Christan man not likely, he must have went to a different church than any I have attended, not to worry he will recieve his reward in a special jail down south, but he needs to be removed from his position asap along with anyone else who considers this just another money making opportunity.

Very recently a family member was arrested there for no good reason. They were driving through going home to Iowa and pulled over for no reason. One ended up going to jail and was bonded out. They were told to call a number to check in but the numbers don't work and no one at the jail has any idea what to do. This jail is a great set up. They want nothing more than to take a persons money over and over. Someone needs to stop this crap.

We had a family member arrested as well. They were driving home to Minnesota and were pulled over for no good reason, too. One had to go to jail but was bonded out. One was free to go. It's profiling. They are looking for out of state license plates. We have learned that the laws that apply to those out of state are different than those in MO. WTH?! Isn't this America?! The jail was difficult to work with, like talking to 5th graders, and very "heartless". It's a money making operation out in the middle of nowhere and the jail itself is a hell hole. Maybe it's time to contact someone who can do something about it. It's certainly giving their state a "bad wrap". We will avoid the state at all costs from now on.

That place is nasty and unfit even for "criminals". The healthcare is an absolute joke I mean you would think as much as they make off all the other counties they house for they could atleast fix the water leaks that are everywhere and maybe fix the mold in the showers or the toilets that don't work AND JUST MAYBE have the decency to feed the people they are collecting money off of food that is edible and not moldy and rotten!!
