$100 reward will be given to the individual who returns this ipod to Mr.Keith Monday morning undamaged-no questions asked-Mr.Keith knows how to contact me and you will receive the reward upon the return of the ipod before the end of the school day- again with no questions asked, no accusations, as the ipod acct has been frozen and can no longer be useful to anyone other than the original owner. Completely serious with the $100 reward as I just want my childs ipod returned.

A school is to gain an education, not to listen and play on an iPod.

Should teach you and your child a lesson that iPods and other gaming devices and phones shouldn't be allowed in school in the first place.

I hope it never turns up. Who am I kidding? You'll just buy another one.

People these days!

Yes school is for education but recess and free time are them to have a break from learning and tests. I hate that you feel its acceptable for one child to take something from another child- by saying you hope it never turns up is repulsive . I'm only looking for info that will get it returned obv you have have no empathy for a child that learns a very hard lesson in trust/distrust with fellow students around their belongings for a quick trip to the restoom. Although you have proven there are ruthless coldhearted individuals of all ages I will still keep hope that one of those kids will realize what happened was wrong and prove parents are still raising their children with some moral standards.

Stealing is wrong, there is NO doubt about that! I hope the ipod is returned and the child learns a lesson that is very doubtful though especially these days.
What happened to recess/free time being about exercise, socializing and making frinds!?!?

Regardless, even though it's allowed at recess, it's still a distraction from class activities nonetheless. Instead of concentrating on classwork, the child is instead probably playing with the iPod secretly. And if not, they are contemplating what the next text should be, what song to listen to or game to play and so on. Too many times I have seen facebook posts from kids sitting in class wishing they were somewhere else. Electronic devices should be banned from school. Period.

If you contact apple the more and likely can track the ipod next time it is linked to a computer... Small chance they can find it... But all ipods have a electronic serial num. and alot of the times they can tell when and where it was linked...GOOD LUCK!! But Jones is prob correct.. It was sold or traded for that Goverment dope...(bath salt or that yard grass with chemicals on it)
GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!

Our children may not take there ipod or other gaming items for recess if they had something to. A paved square..lots to do there. I also assume you don't have young children in school. You are very out of touch. Take you a trip to cms at recess.

My daughters ipod was taken last week. I have problems with the whole thing. A child takes a ipod surely the parents see it, question them, all to hear oh my friend gave it to me or they loaned it to me. As a parent I would want to know who and then make a call. I would really like for this person to just lay it on a desk to be found and returned. I have been told that there are about 5 stolen ipod from cms. Just when did it become okay to steal at school or anywhere?

I know it's hard to keep your kids from taking these things to school, but you would probably be better off not sending them to school with expensive electronics. That way nothing gets stolen or lost.

Yes, I have children in school. One is an all A honor roll student, the other an A/B honor roll student whom has amassed three consecutive years perfect attendance. They have iPhones and iPods as well. It never crossed their minds to even consider bringing them to school.

As for recess, a black square is no excuse to play deadbeat with electronics. If your child can't think of anything creative to do, sit him/her down with a good book.

Lack of parenting skills these days, I swear. No wonder we're 17th and 19th competitively in science and math worldwide. Our kids playing these gadgets that came from China. You guessed it- ranked #1. Go figure!

Its no worse than the push on sports of every kind by the schools themselves, that's all they care about, education is a joke to these people.

Instead of offering a reward my parents would have beat my ass for taking it to school. Good enough for you, never should have had it at school.

Nope, I'm not affiliated with Wise County Schools. My children are enrolled elsewhere, maybe for good reason...lmao...

Just,cold-hearted people out there! They dont know the whole story!Especially if their kids dont attend this school. Too busy criticising someone else kids;maybe hiding something about their own kids..?? I'd rather have my kids playing with an i-pod at recess, than to have them doing something negative or illegal !

Stealing is wrong. These devices should not be taken to school either. Don't the schools have a no cell phone, etc rule? If your child can't go a few hrs without an electronic device that is a problem.
