yeah that's something to be proud of that you can display a poor women drinking and doing drugs and it ok what kind of message are we sending our children. they say they want to bring awareness but they are not the parents of the children it's up to parents to decide at what age they want to teach their children these things

I prey, Ronnie, that god takes mercy on you and forgives you for your sins before its too late. And as for the display, I'm glad that u can live with children seeing such displays, and I'm glad that your ignorant as to how it affects them. Because if you weren't ignorant you would have a hard time sleeping. God bless your ignorant soul

Not everyone that was against this is a bible thumper as you put it. But I will say this, one day you (as well as everyone else) Will stand before God. Just cause we go to church doesnt mean we have to sit back while people like you just do whatever you please. we have rights too.

i have no problem sleeping.i see nothing wrong with the display,it is an opinion.and just because someone dont agree with another ones opinion,it dont make it right or wrong.and you need to pray for your own soul.if everyone would mind their own business,it would be a much better place to live.

Yeah they are not breaking the law. Just practicing their ammendment. But it is stupid to say the least. Just my opinion, leaving out any religious beliefs. I'm thinking the display probably hurt their business more than it helped. Sure its getting publicity right now but don't think people are rushing out to buy flowers from them.

Guess after Valentines Day you are going to see a much different display. Maybe what you might see in the bedroom after the man buys his woman flowers. Guess they will need a male blow up doll for that one.

So practicing their "amendments" should allow them to shove their display in a public place in view of me and my family and offend my Amendment rights?!!!!! They have the right to shove that in MY face in my public view?!!!! I don't have the right to go where ever I please and not be offended and disgusted?!!!! No I have every right to that!!! My beliefs in god do NOT OFFEND anyone!! Nor do they shock peoples sensibilities!!! Simply because my beliefs are decent! That window display hurts and desensitzes the people that see it to the nastiness that it depicts!!! No sir, I'm the one with the constitutional rights that are being infringed upon! Take your display completely down and don't expect decent people to visit your store until u make a true mends with the people that matter in this town. And if u can't accomplish that you'll b closed soon enough when you make no money. Addicts and thugs don't buy flowers! Good christian and hard working people do!! And I assure u that those people are as offended as I am! I should know I have lived here 41 years and I have talked to plenty!

why is it that YOUR rites are the ones that matters?they have the same rights as you and me.it seems like there are always something that bothers people in this town.no wonder there is no businesses here.i suppose if it were a sex shop and they put a manger scene in the window, someone would not like that either.teen suicide is a problem, and people should recognize it as so.

Absolutely right! Suicide is horrible, drugs are horrible, theft is horrible, and should be looked upon as such. Just like lude displays featuring blow up dolls, pills, and alcohol. And my right not to be offended by such things is just as important as someone's right of expression. My expression is one of peace, love, kindness, forgiveness, values, and humility. Things that aren't shown in that horrific sight. And I don't want me or my family to have to be subjected by sights like that just because I want to go out in public and shop. I will NOT sit back and say, "ah it's just a dead blow up doll that comitted suicide with drugs and alcohol because she didn't get flowers on valentines day and that it's no big deal". Bottom line is things and people who believe like that are making this earth worse. And for them to blow it off as nothing and act like the community is a better place because we are graced with their presence and their unrivaled talent is just pure arrogance. They are no better than the shop next door who have been in business for years. They should have felt blessed to come into the community and sell goods. And strive to satisfy their customers. Their attitude is exactly the opposite so it's quite obvious they know nothing of running a business.

I am getting so sick of reading your meaningless posts, Rod. You r not a person I would want to be around for longer then abt 5 minutes. I believe in God too but I also believe in freedom of speech. If u don't like it, simply don't go there or look at it when u drive by. Just drive down the street & watch a drug deal go down or drive by 3 way & see a pill ho waiting for her next victim. You don't seem to see what is really wrong in coeburn & what kids r seeing. The display will eventually be taken down. Then what will u bit€h about? Its an on going cycle with people as yourself always something wrong with others. Ever think to look in the mirror. R u holier then holy? I doubt it seriously.

Lola is right!! I mean rod, you took offense to my post. Really? What offended you by what I said. We all share the same rights and ammendments. If they choose to display such crap, it is the owner's right to do so. Nothing we can do about it. Like I said, it will probably hurt their business. I don't agree with it, but what are ya going to do?? If you really feel that strongly about expressing your rights, then get a big white poster and go stand in front of their store and voice your rights. I'm sure you can get others to do the same.

It is a stupid display and the meaning behind it really makes no sense. Maybe you should start a protest in front of their store. Like I said jokingly, the next display could be worse than this one. And believe me, it could get much worse. If the public feels that strongly about doing something, just not giving them business alone will make them suffer.

I'm not going to bring religion or my rights into this conversation....because we would be here debating that all day. In my opinion, the display is stupid and probably the dumbest advertising that I have ever seen. The message is ridiculous and makes no sense to me.

I don't need to bring religion into this. The display is offensive. It offends me as a woman. It offends me as a mother trying to raise children in a moral fashion. Their attitude about the controversy they deliberately created offends me too. Just exercising my first ammendment right. BTW the stupidity of users trying to excuse this by talking about whores and pills heads...just expose themselves for what and who they are.

It doesn't offend me at all. I just think it's stupid advertising. The message that they are trying to portray is ridiculous! They actually think that some man/woman is going to buy someone else flowers or else they might get depressed and overdose....which makes no sense! If that is how they think and advertise, I don't see the shop staying in business too long. Perhaps they should do some research on marketing and maybe they will see that this is not a message people want to see. This is just my opinion. Some people will think it is ok and some will disagree....that's just life.
By the way Rod, thank you very much for your service! Regardless of personal or political views, that is an honor and there are too many people in this country who no longer remember that fact. Our freedoms have been paved with the sacrifices of our soldiers and they did so for all of us to enjoy this great country; let’s not forget that or take it for granted. Again, thank you very much!
