I'm so tired of seeing people get ripped apart on this site!

Here's how to have a post removed. Go to the comments and click report abuse. Then click send feedback, fill out your info (you can even use fake info), then in the reason section put "This whole post is slander against an underage child."

This works for me every time! And pretty quick! I just do this for about 5 comments in one post and they remove the whole post. I hope this helps!

Isn't that just a little 'over protective'? I see your point, don't get me wrong, but when anyone of us decides what others can or can not comment on then are we not taking away a vital part of our free speech? Would it not be best when there is something we find just unappealing to avoid that topix? If it is not responded to then it just 'dies' out from interest. That's just my point of view, I may not agree with a lot of post, but I don't think denying anyone the right to speak is in the best interest of anyone. I've seen that happen way too much on Yahoo answers.

I always take care of people I know. If their name is used on topix I highlight the page URL and put the whole thread in the permalink to be deleted.
It's just what I do and if you are a true friend to someone who is being trashed it is the right thing to do.
If you want to see the trash talking end maybe its everyones responsibility to help get rid of it.

It's not over protective if it's taking away a post that is nothing but lies...like most of the post here are. Someone gets mad at you and gets on here to trash you...you have the right to have that trash removed!

Stating a false reason to have a post removed is not a good idea. We look at every report sent in but if you say that the thread is about a minor when it clearly isn't then we might disregard your report as fraudulent. If the post/thread legitimately needs to be removed then stating the actual reason can only help your case. No need to lie about it.

Sometimes these threads are so personal or obscure to an outsider that it is difficult for mods to determine exactly what is going on and we do get a ton of false reports from users that are just trying to have someone that they disagree with banned. So please be honest and as clear as possible in your report and everything will be fine.

This is why I state "Violates terms of service".
I read a lot of post and from 5 different towns. I know everyone I submit removal request about and I only have stuff removed that is about underage people or is liable or hurtful in a malice way.
I am so glad to see a mod on here and I hope to see "TopMod15" here more often. Thanks.

Those are pretty bad and I have submitted some of that guys stuff that talks about having kids taken away for removal.

But remember, the mods have to see 100s and hundreds of these and it takes about 3 days sometimes

Perhaps the mod shouldn't be reading this topic about how to have a post removed and focus on the obvious trash
advertising

They cant delete all the bad post, Topix makes money by advertising, the more people check there site out, the more Companies want to advertise here. Advertisers dont care if a post or thread is bad, they just want visibility.
