I grew up in florida and loved the smell of salt in the air that would grow stronger the closer you got to the coast? visited boca raton and cocoa beach recently(july 2011) could not even smell the salt while I was standing on the ocean????? my husband could not smell it, now my brother just called me after having dinner at the cocoa beach pier and he also thought it was strange that he could not smell any salt, WHAT IS UP? ANY ONE ELSE NOTICE THIS?
