Barge beaches itself on Cocoa Beach

Rough weather caused the barge to break free from its tether and beach itself along the beach near Ridgewood and Haves Ave., the Brevard County Sheriff's Office told Local 6. Officials have been working to remove the privately owned barge since at least 8:30 a.m. The U.S. Coast Guard is also on the scene.
