I have recently watched the movie "At Close Range" and I was wondering if anyone has any stories or facts about this family.

Well there is a book out there "Jailing the Johnston Gang", which tells a pretty good history of the family. I know a number of the folks that used to run with them, as well as a number of the police who brought them down. I live right in the center of where it all went down. The book has the story mostly right, the movie is fairly off target. There is a lot more to be known that the book does not cover, but the book is a good place to start.

Bruce did live in northern Maryland with his wife and kids. I grew up with the family and Bruce was just a kid who got stuck in a raw deal. But, he knew better. But then again his younger brother tried to get out and was put in an unmarked grave. Robin was a cute girl with semi-long dark hair

Kind of hard to let go! I moved out of Oxford when I was 11. This matter seems to be haunting me lately, I guess because I drive through the area the Millers used to farm sometimes. I am 51 now and can barely remember what Robin looked like. She was in my younger brothers class, and my older sister used to hang around the oldest girl. The last time I saw Robin I was around 10 years old. I hung around with her brother on the farm a bit and loved the family, sometimes we would walk for miles to fish a neighboring pond, or hang off the back of the planter while the dad planted. I have many good memories from them ! It was a different time and I wonder where the rest of the family is now.
