Officials ID adult from car found in Cochiti

A man whose body was found with those of three children in a car submerged in a New Mexico lake tentatively was identified as Richard Robert Sanchez of Albuquerque, who disappeared in August 2001 with his three young sons.

yeah, the chidren were in fact in richard's custody and also with his mom, while richard was at work. they had been with richard and his family for one week, while his ex-wife was visiting vegas.

Seems like lots of people want to add comments not reported on this website. Stick to the facts you pack of glory dogs, wannabe know it alls and the like. This is a tragic story about the custody laws of this state. Men get screwed while the women get a free ride. I do not condone what this cretin did in any way and I hope the police determine why he did what he did but I doubt the police will be able to do that. May God take care of the children and send the father elsewhere.
