Well, I wonder where "wasted breath" is now?? I do admit my earlier posts were a little harsh, but I don't think they were as bad as "camptown racer". I honesty echo the comments from "simply stated" Congrats on your first year in business, I hope you continue with your success. Perhaps someday in the future we will return for an encore meal.

Thank you concerned. We hope to see you again. Our establishment isn't for everybody. There are many choices out there. I try to change it up by varying the bands. We are doing our best and learning as we go but it will never satisfy all of you. Southern Illinois has wondrous variety. Gotta love it!

Beautiful setting, but the owner is a spineless coward who couldn't run a lemonade stand! Not to mention a buddy ###cker who has no respect for the people who put their ass on the line for freedom that has allowed this guy to fail!
Poor service and a overpriced slop. Don't waste your time or money!

Seems as though you may be the husband of a w***e! The private life of the owner of this establishment doesn't have anything to do with the topic of this forum. Food, drink, entertainment, YES, nothing else should matter to potential customers!!!

Its true we may fail. Have done the best we can under tough circumstances. The difference between me and some others on this site...my name is Brian. I'm not afraid to say it. Hope to see you all at the Lodge or elsewhere. I'm done here.

Everyone must have gotten bored. Let me update this thread. Its a bar that some times had food. The food ranges from fair to almost bad. The owner is still of poor morals. The quality of the owner reflects on the quality of his businesses. Beyond that its a bar with fair musicians/street musicians. Other than the view there is nothing special about it.

Place is great, but the never ending harassment by cops in and around the area has killed it for myself and my group of friends. Leave and there's a roadblock waiting nearly every weekend, no thanks.

We went there over the weekend. Our party just had the sandwiches but they were pretty good. Nice views!
