Yes, sell the property to a manufacturing company. A company that is in the private sector and creates job that are not government-funded jobs. A company that generates revenue by selling the products it manufactures. No more government operated and taxpayer funded schools. No subsidy. No tax holiday. Stay out of public funds.

Why would anyone want a manufacturing plant in that area. Get real. Perhaps we could give it to the illegal aliens so they have plenty of room to have lots of kids. And don't have to wonder the streets of downtown Chambersburg. Wouldn't that be just GRAND LOL

The property is deffinately worth more than 5 million dollars people and it needs to be reopened into the great school the it was and still can be. These public school don't teach nearly as much as Scotland did. My younger brother, a student of SSVC, is complaining that the curiculum in the public highschool is far behind Scotland's and he's "learning" what he had learned a year or more ago at Scotland. It was a great school for the children and challenged us. There is far more to the school then most people will give credit.
