If the horse dumping continues, one resource is the Hooved Animal Humane Society in Woodstock, Illinois. While they generally take in Illinois horses, they have taken horses from Indiana as well. Their web site is http://www.hahs.org/ . It is an excellent organization

God gave us a gift and entrusted us with the care of animals. In today's economy make we need to take care of people in animals. If you haven't done something for a person and a animal go out today and do that. Buy the $10.00 bag of canned food for the food pantry. Donate a $10.00 to an animal shelter bag of dog food, used towels, bleach. Do something once a week and make a difference!!!!
