i agree. i cant have any sympathy when it is clearly the adults here who are at fault. i feel sorry that a child had to die but where were the parents?

Yes you're right but maybe the toddler escaped his parents' attention for just a minute. They might not have realized he was in the water. It's hard to believe parents would've deliberately left a child that young in a pool. And even if they did, it's still sad for the little kid.

Can't a day go by that we don't read about a child dieing one way or another? For god sake, take care of and watch your children.

This is very sad. Thank goodness we don't have a pool, because my son was a monkey and an escape artist when he was 2. If I did, I would've made darn sure that there was zero chance my agile little climber could get into the pool.

Was this at the toddler's home, or someone elses? Maybe that is why he was able to get away from them.

You certainly hit the nail on the head. Day in, day out - parents please get with the program.

first of all, the article doesn't quite tell the whole story, why don't they publish the article when they have all the facts so that we don't jump to conclusions

They were at someone elses house since it said COALDALE boy died in JIM THORPE.. But still even more of a reason for the mom to be keepin a better eye on him... his dad is heart broken an this was his only child... him an the mom are split up... I do not know the mom so I can't say much but my one son has been a handfull since birth... but that also means keep more of an eye on him... Still sucks that a life was cut so short.. Still feel bad for the mom that she has to lay her son to rest no one should have to do that..

Do you really think that the MC cares if you jump to conclusions or not?
The MC wants controversy so that commenters keep coming back.

The news reported that the boy was playing outside and the ball he was playing with landed into a blow-up pool and he went to get it. Why was this child outside playing with no supervision? It is a tragic thing that happen. My heart goes out to this family. Being a mother I can not imagine letting my child that young out of my sight. My 6 year old doesn't even go outside by himself, there are too many strange things that can happen in a matter of seconds. My thoughts and prayers to this family. I can't even imagine what they are going through and honestly never want to find out.

The mother was in charge of watching her child. I want to know where she was. Yes, there were 2 other adults there at the time, but it was the responsibility of the mother there to watch him. The other adults were already watching her other children for her. It is a tragic shame.

It is unbelievable to me that it takes a tragic death of a baby for social services to finally step in. Throughout the years repeated calls to social services had been made on this boys irresponsible mother. To date they have done nothing. Perhaps this sad result could have been avoided. This baby boy is one of three children all neglected by the mother who selfishly only truly cares for herself. My prayers go out to all affected by this tragedy which should have been avoided.

No mija, don't want to take food from a welfare recipient like you. Keep your eggs for you and your daughter. You know, the kid you should be spending more time with instead of being on these threads. You need to get a life!
Now here is how this will play out...
Now she's going back to all her "loser" friends on the friendship thread to tell them that someone hurt her little feelings over here and watch them come to check it out... like fly on SHI*t! hahahahahaha! too funny! All you hispa*nics muchacha's are all the same! hahahahahahahahaha!

You only wish all of what you said was true. I told you before and I'll tell you again step to me. I don't need anyone but myself to wipe the floors with you. Heidi-Ho I can take you on all alone.

You called yourself sh*t. That's even funnier because you don't realize that you did.

I don't need to go anywhere to say anything to anyone. You still there by the park in Atown?

Uh and the kid is in school and I'm at work! You still cracking it up I see being on at hours that everyone else is tending to family matters or sleeping. You know...with their spouses...children...friends.. .family...you know....all of which you know nothing about. I have my kid. What happened to yours?? Oh that's right....bring it b*tch.

Learn to spell or shut the frack up!
