and she has children and grandchildren as well!! i'm sure she didn't set out to kill or hurt anyone. accidents happen - sometimes they can be avoided. my thoughts and prayers are with both families!! put yourself in the driver's shoes - she's prob. a mess!!

It was her fault, she pulled across all the lanes he didnt have newhere else to go. He was go faster then he was suppose to be going but the cops said that its not a factor of him speeding.. the lady was drinking so therefore she is guilty. Everyone knows your not suppose to drink and drunk. IDC if she had one drink thats one drink to much to drive she could of called a cab to take her home, or called for a loved one to pick her up. No instead she tries to drive home with a few drinks in her and takes away a family memeber, now he leaves behind 2 kids a 15 yr old and a 3 yr old. Now they got to grow up without a daddy in their life bc no one can take that spot. He really wasnt nothing to me by law but i said he was my uncle bc he was with my aunt for a long period of time like almost my whole life and im 18 now besides the last 5 yrs.. so yea that lady took away my uncle and i think she should pay for it. This is really gonna mess up the 15 yr old son so i hope that lady is happy for what she did. RIP. Uncle Lewie.. you will be missed terribly and you are loved by everyone.

Was the granny that caused a cyclist's death really drinking and/or drunk? Will we be reading about charges soon?

She didn't have anything in her system. Please post facts only. If you are a relative ask to see the police report when it is available. If you cannot handle the truth that it was just an unfortunate accident than think what u want but don't trash my aunt's name!

This is a tragic accident and unfortunately accidents happen. May both families find peace and be able to deal with this. It is easy to be angry and make up stories but think first and put yourself on both sides of this tragedy. God Bless all involved.

May that old woman rot in heck for what she did that night. Pay attention to what you are doing and you won't kill someone. Typical old person claiming "I didn't see them"!
that should go both ways not just the old lady

When you say "I didn't see him" what you're saying is "I didn't look".

I graduated the Pa MCSafety course and before I got into motorcycles and passed the www.pamsp.com
safety course I THOUGHT I was a good driver.

After graduating,it dawned on me how wrong I was.

john is not thinking right you can tell his statement does not make sense. its you shouldnt "drink and drive" and if she was drinking which i know she dosent drink the cops would have arrested her then and there........
