Whomever you are, you really are setting yourself for potential legal issues by naming people. Who don't you just list more people and then, guaranteed, you anonymity will be gone.
You see, this is something called the you very own unique internet address. Yes, so your computer, or the ass who gave you to use theirs can be traced. It's actually very easy to do if you irritate enough people. And then you the victim can press charges defamation of character and whatever else a creative lawyer can think up.
If I was you, I'd stop naming people who have not been convicted of anything.

If you know people are selling drugs. Why dont you turn them in? Here is what you do. Take some pitchers or better yet vidio. If you know were they park ther cars leave them a nice note. This is what it should say! I know you are getting drugs. I wrote your year make and modle down along with your plate. I also have some nice vidio. If you like your car and freedom please stay out of my town. All this information is going to the police anyway. Have a nice night! YOU COULD BE IN JAIL BY THE AND OF THE WEEK?

Ernest T. The spelling in your reply is so atrocious, I doubt anyone can read it!

Actually, people post their opinion here, and while some opinions are worthy of arrest, you cannot be arrested for stating your opinion.

shes not making up excuses for them im a 19 yr old kid and there is absolutely nothing to do in this town... i cant tell u how many times in the past few yrs i was bored with friends and they wanted to resolve that problem with some sort of illegal substance... as far as you growing up... u said u lived in a tough neighborhood and that u didnt fall to it... ya sometimes people dont do it.. but aprently the majority of the neighborhood did or it wouldnt have been the way it was... the stuff is not forced upon people they chose to have that sort of lifestyle... not trying to bring u down, more power to ya for resisting it, but just because u didnt find yourself in that situation doesnt mean that its completely avoidable. drugs in tamaqua is a huge problem but its mostly because of the lack of things to do. so most people turn to that to at least have osme sort of fun

You are dead wrong. First of all, you are 19, which means YOU ARE A MAN!! Not a kid. If you see yourself as a kid, you are telling me you don't think you are accountable.
Secondly, I WAS confronted with drugs way more than anyone in Tamaqua, guaranteed! Drug dealers and druggies lived beside us, in front of us, on the way to school, IN SCHOOL especially the bathrooms, at all of the surrounding playgrounds, at the swimming pool, at the bus stops and in the woods that surrounded the project. And when it got dark, they were in every knook and cranny. Drugs were everywhere, as was violence and weapons.
My friends were, mostly, criminal types who stole, vandalized, beat people up, drank alcohol with their alcoholic (or druggie) parents. A few came from principled families like mine, and these people reared their boys with strong morals that were backed by TOUGH enforcement if they dared get out of line. I believe in tough love because it works.
You, sir, are accountable for your actions, even if you don't want to be. If your parent are not being reeeal tough on you, they are failing you. BIG TIME! There are no good excuses for making a CHOICE in drugs, just a lot of bad ones. Of couse you know that selling drugs and doing drugs wrong! Oh young MAN, who gave you the idea that society has to look after your butt so you don't destroy yourself.
Are you working 40 hours a week? If so and you are, still, soooo bored that you (ahem) might take up drugs, THEN get another part-time job and save your money.
When I was a kid, I knew drugs were wrong, and I was really worried that why might screw up my health. So, ON MY OWN, I got into doing hard road bicycling, jogging, and then I read about hanging cabinets and drywall when we got our first house, and gave my POOR mother/family a beautiful kitchen for very little cash.
Another idea for you bored MEN who can't control the urge to do WRONG things: Each of you, make a list of 50 elderly residents in Tamaqua who are disabled, or too frail to take out the trash, mow the grass, paint the railings, etc.. Then, whenever you feel that urge to get into trouble,(haha) get out your nifty list and make the rounds.
God help you if I was your father.

It's obvious that YOU read it...so completely that you individually analyzed each of his spelling errors. Wow! You're amazing, Greg. You must truly BE somebody...somebody special. NOT!

idk why you would make a comment like this i was saying that not everyone has the abiility to control that urge i never said anything about you getting into drugs i said that obviously most of ur neighborhood obviously fell into that life style... read my comment my clearly apparently.. i dont work a regular job i take care of my handicapped mother 24/7 so u tell me where my morals are.. im glad ur not my father... my father was a genius.. spent 16 yrs in college and was a micro biologist... obviously far more accomplished then you.. my childhood has been fucked i led a hard life... my mom had more husbands then friends.. my dad was an alcoholic and died when i was 15.. i didnt say that it was impossible to stay away from drugs cuz i obviously have.. read my comment before u flip out on me next time asshole

Stop with the bit about "controlling the urge". If this was a legit alibi, then (haha) all of those young guys who "can't control their urges" to let off steam, every once in a while, by giving their girlfriend/wife/kid a big ol' face masher are off the hook.
Most people make bad choices because they WANT TO; because they have refused be hard on themselves and have refused to apply their intelligence to anything other then their own immediate needs. Then when they suffer the consequences of their poor CHOICES (Not mistakes) they expect all of us who WERE HARD ON OURSELVES to pity them and give them another break.
If you are really taking care of a handicapped mother (applause), I relate, completely (not gonna get into it). Okay, so we both had tough lives and, I guess, like me, you stayed away from the trash. Great! The rest of the young men, in my strong opinion, are unaccountable, and will be held accountable by the law if they do not get their acts in order. No pity on this end.
Lastly, you praised your father as a "genius" who attended college, was a microbiologist and was a hell of a lot more "accomplished" than me
(It may be true). Then you related your tough life to his alcoholism??????????
"Accomplished" is not synonymous with good character and morality. I'm not taking a hit at your parent, I'm just saying things I've said in my own family. Likewise, the poor guy who is JUST a dishwasher at the local slop joint might very well be the greatest father in the world, who possesses significantly greater moral integrity than some guy with a dozen degrees hanging on the wall.
The court is out on alcoholism, and I will not discuss the intricacies of a father's mental make-up with his son. I will just add that someone very close to me had, WILLFULLY, made the choice to drink due IN FULL to peer pressure and guess what what happened? We have a full fledged alcoholic on our hands, and I remember what happened. It did not have to happen becasue the roots, DEFINITELY, go back home to the lack of strong parenting. No, it's was not society that wronged my family member.
You are doing a good deed that does not come easily to young men, who just want to have a good time. I respect you! Tremendously!
The best of luck to you.

i understand what u are saying and a lot of people CHOOSE to participate in those types of behaviors and a lot of it has to do with their friends. i have been taking care of my mom for a few months now and it isnt exactly easy cause my social life has gone to shit, but i do it regardless because she is my mother and i have refrained from the use of drugs and alcohol. drugs because of what they do and alcohol because of its effect in my family.. my father wasnt the greatest in the beginning when he was drinking but once he stopped he was one of the best fathers ive ever met. i wasnt blaming my childhood solely on my fathers alcoholism but on the general fact that he was never around until he was about to die.. the last 2 yrs i spent with him i watched him slowly pass and now i have to do to the same with my mother... i thank you for your respect since u seem to be an very intelligent person.

all u people need to get off your high horses. there is about 8 other houses that i know JUST ON ARLINGTON that deals drugs. so get off these kids backs. I know them personally and they are good kids NOT scumbags.
#33 May 12, 2009
This can not be serious. All of you have know idea who these teens are yet think you can call them names, and degrade them? I know all of them personally, and none of them are bad kids at all. All of you act like it was a drug house filled with tons of hard drugs like meth and coke, and it wasn't. So these kids made a mistake, nobodies fucking perfect. Everyone needs to lay off of them, this happened over a month ago. Move on with your lives.

It isn't just them. It's the entire belief of "it was only pot" that pisses me off. It is called a gateway drug for a reason. It is a starting point. Sure, most people that smoke dope only smoke dope. Most people that are dead from the hard stuff, started with dope.
This is why it's called a discussion board. People give their opinion and discuss things. Things they wouldn't discuss in the open. This subject is far from dead because of all the other drug houses.

Oh Lord, a potpourri of some of my favorite terms terms in teeny weeny post.
"None of them are bad kids?" instead of "DRUGS EQUALS TROUBLE!"
"You degrade them" intead of "YOU ARE TELLING THE SAD TRUTH".(When the truth is negative, and you dare talk about it, that's called degrading.)
Kids" instead of "MEN".
"Nobody's f__king perrrrrfect" over "THEY MUST BE ACCOUNTABLE".
"It happened over a month ago" (What's time got to do with it? I want to know if YOU HAVE FIXED THE PROBLEM?)
And my favorite word of all:
"Mistake" rather than "CHOICE"
Whomever you are, if you are a parent, please get out of the parenting business. The streets are full on weak-minded children and young adults who think a parent's job be their best buddy and, sadly, have never seen a day of real punishment for making bad CHOICES.

most of the people fucked up in our town here are on legal drugs that the government gets tax money and pay off money to allow these drugs on the streets so you better think before you ppl talk it's just like church shit my gods better then yours, beer is legal and pot is dangerous it is stupid, drugs are drugs not legal or legal what about all those pain pills and mental pills they are ok too cause the government says so but they got paid to say they are ok by the multi-million dollar company that gave them more money to run for office then you'll see in your whole life you dum ppl you just listen to what your told instead of thinking for your self then they try to take your rights to vote and own a fire arm to protect your self for being a convicted felon cause you dont like what they tell you to do so now you cant change it or defend your self so think about that for a little bit then go to work and go right home and stay there typing on your computer all night like they want you to so you dont see what is going on out side and if you do now your under arrest or getting pulled over and fined either way they want all you money in thier pocket and you to just sit in one place and do nothing waiting for them to tell you what to do.

They say we have acid water. Hmmm. Could it be the water?

Now I understand why they made such a big deal about punctuation while I was in school. To show you can maintain a coherant thought.
Addiction is horrible no matter what form. If you get hooked on pain pills and your script runs out, heroin is a close substitute.
#42 May 18, 2009
Yes, people are as easily adicted to the legal and illegal narcotics. People are self destructive. The people getting busted these days don't care about consequences for their actions. If they did, there wouldn't be a discussion of this nature.
This is part of a bigger picture. Younger generations have always tried to blame everything on previous generations. By the time we figured out the older generations had things mostly right, we're older.
Generalizations about everything are usually borne on some grain of truth. Yes, pot is still illegal because the government can't make cash on taxing it. On the flip side, if you don't know where or how it is grown, you don't know what your smoking.
