I heard at turkey hill today that plans are in the works to established the PVRPD-panther valley regional police dept and that is why the police chiefs from lansford and summit hill were present for the meeting last night so stay tuned

When you have a $100K a year chief, you don't need any indians. The have Richie the fire chief and his goons to keep law and order they don't need any police.
There will be no PVRPD nobody has money to pay for it. They'll end up using the state police, like they should have years ago. I guess with fewer indians, they can sell some of the excessive police vehicles

Geographically this doesn't make sense. Where is the closets state police barracks for coaldale? Why should the state police waste their time and their resources when you have communities neighboring coaldale with police departments.

Lansford, which borders Coaldale, can no longer afford its department or anything else. The Council likes to make believe Lansford is still a town. It's time for neighboring towns to become one ... yeah, like that will happen!

That regional police idea is a dead horse that gets beat every now and then.While that's the way to go,none of the towns involved want to give up their thiefdoms.

If they used the state police, then the fire company goobers would have no protection when they went around beating up people
