Is BrickStreet for real? have any of u been injured while working, and had the pleasure of walking down the BrickStreet road , and dealing with Thier doctor Dr.Mukkamala, or the Sarcastic weman of BrickStreet?

yes I have! Both brickstreet and Dr Mukkamala should be on Comedy Central they're most certainly a joke. But I doubt they would have good ratings on the show, neither one of them r funny.

How about the way the old state system worked? It was killing business and driving away jobs. WV finally joined 46 other states in the USA who have private insurance-based workers compensation syayems. Did you know that only three state remain (Ohio, North Dakota and Washington) with state-run systems? Besides, if employers don't like BrickStreet, they now have many other insurance companies to choose from. Isn't the free market system and competition a great thing? And by the way - it was our government that decided to do away with the monopolistic state system. A government led by Joe Manchin who was elected by the people of WV not once, but twice. He must be doing something right.

yeah , and if your not faking they try really hard to make it look like u r faking! like one case in fact having thier Doctor's at follow up visits tell u to stop and get Ice on your way home to put on your back injury, so thier little comp detectives can get u on video lifting a bag of ice! and any pictures of u hold your back will not be used, but the first moment u take your hand away from your back ( KaBooomm!!!) the picture they have been wanting. BrickStreet is in fact very vindictive towards anyone that has been injured while trying to make a livng. if u think they r so honest why is it attorney's all across this state prove them to be liars the fact of the matter is BrickStreet pays out more in $$$ trying to make Injured works look like liars than they do trying to actually help them!

Thats just one of thier problem, They think every one is a faking liar. u know MIR's, CT Scans, and X-Rays don't lie, but thier doctors Damn sure will!!!

there r more people in this state that have been on comp or had a family memeber injured at work that had to deal with thease people than u will find that up hold thease bastards

Do u have evidence that thay wouldn't pay Doctor's, or Politicians off for thier needs, better yet have u ever been injured, and faced the spokes of thier wheels as they turn. as for me I have Written proof! what do u have other than opinion. as for me being "cynic" i'm always open to Real facts to change my views, and unless u have walked down the brickstreet road how could u possibly think someone could be a cynic person? when u don't even know what your talking about. unless u work for them, or know of someone that does!

I'll tell u what brick street is a bunch of smart A$$ grouped together in one building Brick Street 360 Thier True Definition of "360" it means to have your house mortgaged, your car repossed, every firearm, and piece of jewelry u own in a pawn shop, the biggest yard sale u can put together, and have u doing this with in 360 days of being off from work do to a work injury and still can't return to work because the treating doctor want release u to go back to work, but thier doctor said he thinks there is nothing wrong with u. the BrickStreet 360......

The name has been changed to protect the guilty. The same group of corrupt political hacks that were in charge of WV Comp, are for the most part, now running BrickStreet, which some have labeled PrickStreet. And, since Fanny Seiler is gone, there is no one left to call spades, spades. There have been, according to scuttlebutt, settlements to cover up affairs, investigations of Compers looking the other way on behalf of doctors who were stealing from them, but who happened to have friends in high places (Finance Committee) and other such misdeeds. No other company has ever been given such an opportunity to succeed. Yes, they are regulated by the Insurance Commission, but that doesn't mean that they always pass with flying colors, does it? I feel sorry for most of the folks who are still employed there. Upper and Middle Management idiots and political hacks make the decisions about who and what to pursue and those on the lower end have to live with it. The Governor knew that people would ultimately lose their jobs when he privatized, and he just gave it enough time so that he wouldn't be blamed. If you aren't happy with the current Worker's Comp Climate....... the buck stops there........ literally and figuratively
