ACLU Wants Changes In Nudity Laws

The American Civil Liberties Union plans to lobby for changes to Colorado laws that require nude offenders to register as sex offenders, claiming the laws are unusually harsh.

It's beyond absurd to categorize streakers and skinny dippers with child molesters!

I should imagine that literally MOST people have streaked or skinny-dipped at one time or another.

Their goal to destroy the mores and value system within the USA. The family structure and the role of father and mother can not exist under the plan of the ACLU...everyone should be able to do whatever they want and the criminal has more rights then the non criminal...

Do these students REALLY deserve to be labeled as sex offenders for committing a wrong-headed prank? That is the central issue. The fact that they were naked does not make them sexual deviants.

some folks seem to confuse mores with morals. nudity is not a crime nor sin. god created us , not designer jeans. mores is the present standard of convention. not too long ago, it was improper for a lady to show her ankle, now, who cares. convention says it is proper to wear clothes,(to protect us from the environment) to fit the situation we may be in. what does one wear when taking a bath?anyway, nudity does not mean lewd.

Yeah!! I can't wait for casual day at work. I am going to show my junk off to all my co-workers and if I get fired the ACLU will come save me.
This is great, who needs these pesky nudity laws anyhow. I am going naked everywhere from now on....work, the grocery store, the park, the public pool, the health club, bowling, yoga class, the tennis court, biking, dog walking,the DMV,the city bus, the movies, the pizza place, to pick up the kids at school....Thank you ACLU !!

This is a really sick ass country we live in where laws demand people must be forced to wear clothes in public. Remember that on a hot sticky summer day when it's just too hot to wear clothes! But, oh, no...you can't do that in public. So, if you die from heat stroke, oh well. Leaves more room for quote "decent" people. I agree with Laura and Brainstorm for that matter.

It's kinda a sick country with people in the minority that try to overt the law with their beliefs and can not respect those in the majority nor respect others value system...
